Those QB runs are one reason I’ve been making a point to secure at least one by round 7-8. Jayden and Hurts in the 6th have made that strategy even easier to pull off. I want at least one of the top 13 in ADP on every build right now, if possible.
If I’m going to push one position, it is TE. But with the 20 rounds, I’ve liked grabbing one in the top 10 of ADP and then 2 more later on.
You can easily fill the starting lineup by round 8 without forcing anything. And especially in the pre-draft contests, I’m trying to be mindful that uncertainty doesn’t necessarily equal upside.

Just don't be like the guy in my current draft who took Jayden. Then also grabbed Darnold, Stroud, Bryce, and JJM.

Yeah the only times I got them I had to pull them up at the 3/4 turn.
Nice. I’ve tried it a couple of times but haven’t gotten it. Seen it a few times watching streams, but it seems pretty rare to get the 4/5 stack.
An example of building out my starting roster. I do think it's fine to push TE to the second half, but I liked this price on McBride. Plan from here is to take a RB to fill out the Flex. Double tap WR at the 9/10 turn. Grab QB2 in R11 (probably Bryce), and then start filling out the rest.

Even if it were banned, I still think Hurts would be live for a QB sneak from the 1 or 2.
Yeah, I think the Hurts price is still good, even it's banned. And seems great if isn't banned. I would like Barkley more in the 2nd if it did get banned, though.
I hope Mannion understands that Hurts needs to run more from all over the field to be more effective.

I wonder how low Breece will fall with the very likely return to the Jets. I’m guessing gradually back to the 5th. But may take until the summer.
The biggest thing I would've done differently is a WR other than Hunter (Bryant if he was available).

I think Bryant is fine at his price, but in my build I felt like I needed upside and Hunter, if he plays offense, could be a star so felt like it was worth the risk

Ha, see I was thinking you'd need a little more floor. Starting 2 rookies off the bat seems like a good shot at some upside.
I went into this one with the plan to only draft RBs and WRs as long as I didn't have to reach more than 5 spots of ADP until Round 10, and then I would triple click QB. I considered going with 4 TEs, but felt like I needed 7 RBs since I didn't think Price as my RB3 was that strong.

Definitely a fair point, my thinking was that there are a lot of cases where 1 rookie hits and the other is just ok or busts, or they’re both just solid, but not stars, so given no wr until rd5, it probably made more sense to build up a larger upside case than floor

I haven’t drafted on DK yet, so not sure of adps, but generally I think it’s a reasonable strategy
I probably would’ve picked different players at depth rb and TE in particular but that’s more a preference thing and this can definitely work

You guys good with tax stuff? I emailed DK and UD to see when I'd get a 1099, and both said that I wouldn't be getting one for 2025.
I just d/l my contest history from DK. Looks like my winnings for BB and DFS were $10,901.85 and my entry fees were $11,018.35. So I actually finished in the red (thanks DFS!)
So does this mean they're right and I wouldn't get anything to file?
