i do stand by my assertion that the RC just "means more" to the Eurolandia players, fans, media, etc. my understanding is that having a stellar RC record goes a long way to defining your legacy. that's simply not the case in the U.S.
i included the major pic to illustrate the sheer dominance of the U.S. in golf's biggest tournaments. in a round about way i suppose i'm saying the majors just "mean more" to Yanklandia golfers. how else to explain the outsized dominance of U.S. players decade in and decade out in golf's biggest individual cauldrons
