THE Official 2024 PGA Tour Season Thread
I don't have a fancy OP or anything. But now that we are in 2024, and are back to calendar schedules instead of the reac
MinusEV got liga'd. Just any way to spin zone a pro-US take into something, and liga will be there.
this course it too easy when it's this soft
You're literally the Stephen A. Smith of this forum. That's not a good thing.
whatever you say g-bebe
i add a lot of great insight and discussion to the golf thread. the wheels do come off at times tho. i'll give you that
think of it as the yin and yang of liga

we can all agree that EUR is going to close the deal tmr. they will have no issues hoisting the Cup
this result will cut the U.S.'s lead in the exhibition from 12 to 11
everything shifted after someone pissed on roses cuppa sugar cubes
forget brain freeze he turfed up birdies like my local muni during aeration season
last time i witnessed this many peacock struts was during last seasons feather waving ten months ago
In hindsight, it was extremely poor fantasy team management to pick Tommy as Captain and Rosey as a filler guy, and then pick Scottie over Rory. Some very basic ABC logic I missed there.

In between trolling Trump & the typical POS NY fans, Chamblee said Euro was -16 in the Friday foursomes. Welp, US matched that today and Euro promptly went -22.
NoLayingUp just laying into the Team USA apparatus and rightfully so. We are outclassed in every way.
Crazy the ripple effect Zach Johnson being a terrible captain is having. If he didn't leave Keegan off the team he'd be playing right now and the American team outside of Dechambeau and JT are a bunch of emotionless robots. They need guys like Keegan and Patrick Reed on the team.
There is nothing in this world that needs patrick reed. Whatever terrible situation you find yourself in, you can immediately make it better by reminding yourself that "at least patrick reed isn't here.".
Unless he is. Then you're ****ed.
why do facts rustle ppl's feathers so much?

was listening to PGAT Radio just now and a talking head brought up a pretty interesting point. he said the EUR squad has basically been the best team in sports for some time. never thought of it that way. an interesting thought if nothing else
This is pretty much my thinking. Won't have to waste a screen on golf now, lol. What is ARS?
ARS = Arsenal F.C. in the English Premier League
NEW = Newcastle United F.C.
they play the main EPL game tmr
watching the Live From on dvr right now
Rich Lerner just said "you guys are better at this" to Paul McGinley on the set
exactly what i was saying... that Eurolandia has this RC thing down pat
not sure how that is taking anything away from this EUR RC team's performance
quite to the contrary. tipping the cap for being so buttoned up when it comes to this event
More hindsight: SS BDC pairing seemed kinda panicky & Suttonesque. If BDC found something in the morning, and you spotted signs of life in Scottie (that weren’t actually there) wouldn’t you want to split them up and go for two points down that far?
And you’re not losing the locker room benching 0-3 Sulky Sheff—who was probably surprised he wasn’t—for say English whose putter looked warm in the morning.
All irrelevant deck chairs regardless, but Keeg’s looked pretty headlighted so far.
I have to admit that one made me chuckle pretty good, it was so on brand for you. Getting waxed this weekend while boasting about the US record in Ryder Cup based on 50 years of beating up on GB&I. A vintage spin zone take that SAS would be proud of.
again, why do facts rustle ppl's feathers so much (it's a curious facet of the human condition for some)
the previous boat racings didn't happen... shouldn't be mentioned or talked about?
the RC has a long history (the RC turns 100 in IRE in two yrs). the U.S. has dominated the RC. liga is a meanie weanie for pointing this out?

not following your post
for me, personally, the 4 majors are the coup de grace for golf viewership. everyone who knows me knows i'll be out of pocket those four weekends every year
that said, i love me some match-play competition. my favorite match-play competitions to follow are the yearly USGA events (in fact, i travelled several hours earlier this year to attend three days of the U.S. Girls' Junior) and the NCAA (both men's and women's) championships. i follow amateur and junior golf in the U.S. very closely
the RC trails all these events for me. i still love to watch it and follow it, but it isn't in my top 10 of golf events to watch and follow
I wasn't watching at the time. What happened with DeShammy and Rose?
