Caesars 2:00 p.m. tournament 20K and chips $100 entry $50 add-on at the break let's go
First break 16.7 K can't get anything going but there's a lot of people in this term in about 90 so it could pay off if I can get something going after the break
After add on 32k. Now the blinds really get nuts so I'm going to have to start just shoving. Or maybe hitting some cards that would be a nice difference.
I kind of did at least for a little bit. I shove with a pair of Rags doubled up then in very next hand I had a good hand I shoved again and doubled up again and on the very next hand I had pocket nines and I got a three-way knockout with them so all of a sudden I went from nothing to a very very healthy stack in the span of three hands.
But then I ran my Ace Jack into a pair of queens and got crippled again. Long story short there were 102 entries and I finished in 21st Place 16 got paid played for about 4 hours. Then I headed back to the Venetian to get into a cash game as there were plenty of tables running cash at that time. I was in for $300 out for exactly 450 so it was a nice but short session.
Day three of the senior had 693 entries so they got plenty to cover their million dollar guarantee. Now I'm just going to rest up and get ready for tomorrow's day 2 which will probably end up being the highlight of this trip.
Day one when I played it was only 235 player field day two I believe was about 335 field and today was 693. What field size do you guys think is your best chance small medium or large?
A few thoughts on Caesars Palace today. If I never go into that poker room again its too soon!. The lighting is poor, there is loud crappy annoying music pumping in from the casino and just the casino itself annoys me. I realize this may be an "old man yells at cloud" moment but I really hate that place.
Oh and their chips suck. The black 100's are almost identical to the very dark purple 500's. That said it was the biggest turnout I ever saw for one of those turbos.
Anybody know what's going on with the fireworks on the Strip right now. Tried to take a picture but my windows too dirty. Looks like they're going off around between MGM and and Planet Hollywood. Hard to tell from my vantage point but I can see them and hear them pretty well through my window I just wish my window was clean so I could take a picture of it

Slept really good last night and I woke up feeling refreshed. Then I got cleaned up and just wanted to start walking around getting my steps in and getting my mind in the right frame for today's tournament. I'm sure there are going to be plenty of Crushers in this thing and I am a mere interloper. I don't have a lot of day 2 experience and I've never really done very well but I hope to rectify that today.
I was hungry since I hadn't eaten since that cheeseburger yesterday at noon and I decided that I'm going to try to go carb-free or close to it the rest of this trip. So I went to the Grand Lux and got the breakfast buffet where it's real easy to just eat no carb food like eggs and breakfast meats. I had a delicious omelette and a lot of bacon and sausage and ham. But it's kind of a rip off the buffets $35 and it be cheaper just to buy an omelette and a side of bacon off the menu.
I was basically just walking laps of the upper and lower Venetian and Palazzo. I stopped into the poker room but they didn't have the prize pool up they did have a scroll of all the players remaining with their seat assignments. It looks like I have more than half the field covered. But I'm guessing I'm probably average or below average in chip count. But it's nice to know there's plenty of players with less than I have.
I'm going to head over there pretty soon and just hope I can get a decent run of cards and play focused and patient poker to the best of my ability.
I have entered the arena still no prize pool up yet. They say there are 188 players left. I will be going into battle with just shy of 30 big blinds and it looks like 60% of the field probably has less chips than I do so hope I can make some kind of run today

I don't know how you guys can do it, when you talk about "haven't eaten since noon yesterday." I'd be all out of sorts.

Run good today
Uhg! Out quick 😀 150th place for a min cash of 2331 for+1131. Disappointing but at least I cashed. There was a million+ stack on my left pushing everyone around. So I was just waiting for a good spot.
Open 88 and get shoved on by a smaller stack. My stack looks pretty small to the rest of the table and I am gonna need chips so I decide to gamble. He has AK so I get what I wanted a flip. Flop is clean but K hits the turn and I am in shove only mode. I make that final shove with J9 suited get 3 callers, flop a gutshot and miss.
Now I gotta decide what to do today 😀 No cash at V with 2 tourneys running. Too damn hot for the pool. Probably head towards Horseshoe for eithe cash or DDS.
GO feel wrath! I let LVL down but lets hope he can ship this thing!
