Diamond in a Day - CET Total Rewards
Is it still possible to get Diamond in a Day?
I have read about it in the past, just curious.
Maybe I'm missing something else, but read this carefully and it says $5k gets you the 5k TCs like before, but $50k spend gets you 15k in REWARDS CREDITS (i.e. not Diamond). Pretty messed up to put this in the same sentence:
"5, 000 Tier Credits for $5, 000 Spend, 15, 000 Reward Credits® for $50, 000 Spend
Limit of one time per calendar year. Offer is exclusive to Caesars Rewards Visa Signature® Credit Card holders enrolled in the Caesars Rewards program. Balance transfers and cash advances exc
So they give you $150 (or maybe $75 if you go to one of the 2-1 establishments)

You are right. I totally misread that. 🫤
Wooohoo. I finished the week up ~1550ish TCs at Danville during the 10x. The promo credits should be added within a week after the promo ends which should give me my diamond status. If i get the credit card and max the bonus TCs that might push me to diamond plus.
FYI, I earned probably 95% through the 7/5 JoB video poker machines playing mostly .25 max bet. The rest from slots. Overall probably down $400 which i was more than willing to pay for diamond. It was a long grind but well worth it
That's quite a commitment to doing that at $1.25/hand!
I was a Danville on Sunday for the same 10x promotion. I earned (just over) 2500 TCs playing 9/5 JoB at $25/hand.
It was quite a roller coaster....I started out running terribly, and was down almost $2500 at around the 1000 TC mark, which had me nervous because I brought just under $4k to the casino. But I made a big comeback, and was actually -up- $500 around 2000 TCs. The last 500 TCs didn't go so well, and finished down about $300, which is actually pretty close to the expectation of the game. So I'm very happy with that.
On top of this, I won $600 playing a few hours of 1/3 NL, and received $190 in free play the next day. I wasn't able to redeem the free play yet, but apparently it's good for 3 months. So all around a very successful trip.
I got my 5000 daily TC bonus this morning. I haven't gotten the 10x multiplier yet, but I guess it's not supposed to post for another few days.

Nice job. About how long did you play 9/5 to get those 2500 TCs ?
My 10x experiment at Eldorado in Reno ended with me netting a few hundred TCs at basically a break-even figure playing .25/.50/1.00 JOB VP. They seemed to be applying the 10x bonus instantly, as I netted 100+ TC in a single hour at one point. I was checking my numbers regularly on the kiosks. It's been over a week and they haven't gone up at all, so I don't think there's anything else pending.
I flirted with the idea of going hard for diamond, but wasn't ready to sit there and blast off enough $$$ to get it. I hit platinum last year (mainly through hotel fees), but doubt I will even get back to 5k TC again this year. They're quite stingy with the TCs.

I've never been to Reno, but my impression is that Caesars in Reno is actually quite generous with TCs at VP. According to vpfree, they have several 9/6 JoB machines that earn at 10:1 at the 25c-$1 level, which is almost impossible to find most other markets (though it's possible the vpfree info is outdated).
If you are playing at the $1 level (so $5/spin), you should be earning a few hundred TC/hour even without any multiplier. So I highly doubt the multiplier was applied instantaneously, and as long as you opted into it, you should see a lot more tier credits added into your account with a few days.
Does anyone know if the VPFree info on Caesars Palace is still accurate? I am seeing 9/6 JoB $5 denomination machines with a 99.5% payback.
I think my best bet to try to grind Diamond this summer is to play that game there. I believe $50,000 coin in to get 5k TC with an expected loss of $250 (with high variance, of course)?

They aren't so easy to find in the casino either. I went into one in Tahoe which was supposed to have them, and I couldn't find any. I looked for about half an hour. If I was dedicated I probably could've found one, but I gave up.

The last time I looked for those, all I found were 25:1 tc. They had a small brass plate on the machines. I didn't play them.
I guess. There are no vp in the Vegas CET universe that are any better than any other Vegas casino like Horseshoe, etc UNLESS you're feeding in big money. There are probably 9/6 JOB if it's $50 or $100 credits. The moral of the story is that if you're in front of a Vegas CET vp machine and you think you've found the only full pay vp in town, check for plaques or brass plates that have the true tier credit ratio.

100% certain 10x was NOT applied instaneously

That info is likely accurate. But what you are missing is thr arc credit ratio of $/TC. Slots are $5/TC, most VP are $10/TC but when you see a 9/6JOB they are “never” $10/TC. PROBABLY $25/TC or even $50/TC (saw that on a $0.25 Progressive JOB in AC).
So would need to run $125,000 thru with expected EV of -$625. But if you don’t hit a Royal, the EV is more like -$3000.
Really need to find a 5x or 10x event otherwise DIAD via VP is likely too expensive.
Ironic timing of these posts. I JUST did a thorough search of EVERY VP machine in both high limit rooms at Caesars LV a few hours ago.
Despite VPFree claiming there is 1 9/6 JOB slant-top at $5-$10-$25 and 2 9/6 JOB slant-tops at $25-$50-$100, the ONLY 9/6 JOB I could find at all was a $50-$100 machine in the larger high-limit room (I forget if there was one or two side by side, but def $50 min).
(This includes me checking all the spin machines, multi play machines, super times pay machines, ultimate x machines, quick quads machines, etc in BOTH rooms- and checking all stakes per machine.)
Not impossible I missed something so would be nice if someone else can confirm too.
Side note- the $50-$100 9/6 JOB machine was $25/TC (or at least, gave 10 TC for a max spin at $50).
Yup! I almost played that machine too. It was actually not far from the poker room, towards the Forum Shops. I fed in a few hundred and was about to start pushing buttons when I saw the little brass plate. I withdrew it all, lol.
Horseshoe has/had a similar machine in the high limit slots area. I tried a stupid experiment and threw a thousand bucks in it. Hardly got any tc before the money was all gone.
