Las Vegas Poker Player Vlogs

I think pman did a super duper good job. He was ahead when the money went into the pot. He will get his grove on in the next tournament.
I hate to pile on pman but with a 25,000 starting stack and 30 minute levels how do you suppose he lost more than 2/3 of his stack in less than an hour before the TT jam? It's pretty obvious he lacks basic mtt fundamentals.
How does an aspiring poker pro not have multiple buyins in their pocket during the WSOP? The biggest poker event of the year and you're trying to bleed off part of your bankroll in fees.
Always go to the bank to withdraw and avoid ATM fees.

This young man needs to go home.
Rocketing off 36BB with TT against a 3.5BB raise and a field caller in level 2 is how you end up without a backer, not that he should be playing anyway.
Honestly it sounds like he’s petrified to play post flop.

Yeah, talk about overplaying a spot. Never getting called by anything worse so you are flipping at best. Was a perfect setup for a smooth call in position and then see the flop.
Just a reminder everyone...
Buy those pieces quick. They will likely sell out. The tourney sweat won't last longer than a baseball game so you can go on with the rest of your day.
You all missed the worst part. He blew 90 bigs on level two with one pair. But no worries. Pman thinks he lost the min. LOL.

Idk what he was doing at the atm but the $500 wsop event yesterday was a freeze out so no rebuys was my understanding

He's upset about the 200 limit but had to sell half to a 500 dollar tournament.
Imagine wasting your run good in a small event where you only have half.

Fair enough it was a freezeout, but still agree that when you claim to be an aspiring poker pro and you are in Vegas at the WSOP with events going on every day at every major pokeroom still dont have more cash available on you to fire is a max noob move. Like come on dude.
The best thing that could happen for someone like Pman is for his dad to stop giving him Economic Outpatient Care. Then he'd finally be forced to do what it takes to make it in poker, or accept that he doesn't have the right temperament for it and move onto something else.
Unfortunately, it doesn't seem like it will happen, and the story will be the same in 2034, only sadder.
Losing 70% of your stack with TPTK is not good (and AKo bites again), but TT jam seems fine. Not knowing actual positions hurts, but here’s floptimal chip ev at 40 and 30 effective, and when I ran at 75% of field left ICM in gto wizard it was a pure jam.

Then again, do we need to take every spot that the solver wants us to in a buttery soft 500 opening event at the WSOP?
Dont get me wrong, its fine that the play he makes is technically approved but i am a bigger fan of a more exploitative style of play in these soft live events.

Can't lose the minimum if you can't find a fold. LOL
Clearly, the TT rocket was a direct result of monkey tilt form the AK debacle. The kind of error you would expect from a gambler who hasn't studied at all and is new to the game - chasing losses to get back to even.

Pman is a total joker on the poker table and is boring af in vlogs. He does seem like a good guy and his heart is in the right place but he just needs to do something else. Unfortunately with Trooper officially out the game and rice on a temporary hiatus whilst he gets used to working a job this thread is reduced to discussing the finer details of the pman clown show. Sad times.

That’s a good point. Plus it’s a freeze out.

Fair but these bumpkins can also put him on AK and call him with pairs he dominates as well
Hey Rice...

Come on now, we play poker... at one time or another, we've all played low stakes poker... this is nothing new.

I mean, this, right here. Just horrific play. If this were a middling rec, it would be laughable.
