Gobbo other Thread got closed by the mod said it doesn't belong in the House of Blogs, hoping we can have this one without Trooper talk.
This thread is to discuss local professional poker players on their journey. Please refrain from mentioning the local youtube celebrity who plays poker.

This now stands for this thread:
Trooper97 vlogs, discussions etc. will be allowed to continue in the new thread. That thread will not be unchained and I will work with the other LVL mods to keep it civil.
I personally am not going to allow a lot of the horrible posting that went on in the original thread to take place and I will be very generous with post deletions and bans if needed.
Posts the are overly derogatory, mean spirited, name calling (including using rude derivatives of names) , and demeaning posts towards any of the vloggers or posters in the thread will be deleted at the mods discretion. If any accounts persistently do this they will be banned or exiled from posting in this thread. In these cases we may issue a warning first.
Accounts that are used only to or substantially to troll post in this thread will be banned.

Update April 2018
********************
OK Vlogger Thread, we are going with some new parameters to try to make this the POSITIVE vlogger thread that it is supposed to be, not the AIDS vlogger thread where a few loonies ruin it for the rest. Note that 'positive' does not equal 'only positive', it means anything negative being said CAN'T be namecalling or wild, unsubstantiated speculation regarding any and all vloggers. Personal lives and anything aside from poker is OFF THE TABLE.

A new update March 2019:
NO ****ING POLITICS!
In Episode 3 of Skater Nomad he reaches a milestone of Nomadic evolution and while doing Uber Eats he obtains free condiments from Chipotole including an entire bottle of comped Tabasco.
Then he gambles his earnings and drives back to California for a temporary rest and relaxation and possibly to escape weekend room rates.
Then he dispenses Nomadic financial advice to obtain a $2,000 car and pay off same with Ubering. He does complain about bald tires and squeaky brakes.
Today Rice goes to Rivers Casino in Pittsburgh and shows up the chairs, tables and chips. Yippee. My life is complete. He also tells how he once had a 6 high straight flush beaten in the final 30 seconds of a high hand period at the same casino, but he didn't care because he has no idea what the prize for the high hand was. Ah, living the life where money doesn't matter.
He also refers to the Pittsburgh stadium as Three Rivers Stadium, which is amazing for someone who claims to be such a baseball expert, since it closed and was razed probably 20 years. The Pirates now play at the best stadium in MLB, PNC Park, and the Steelers are at Acrisure Stadium, after a recent name change.
Rice visits the outfield wall of the former Forbes Field (I think he called it Fords Field but I could be wrong). He then goes looking for home plate from the stadium, which should be 457 feet from the wall (and based on the wall he should be able to deduce exactly what direction to walk) but he seemingly gets lost looking for home plate. Eventually he finds it and is shocked it is still in the ground.
Two days in Pittsburgh and he probably played a whopping two hours of poker. He should just rebrand to a travel channel.

If ignorance is bliss, then Rice has cornered the market.

Yup, absolute art.
But dont worry, if you dare to ask Rice about his heavy breathing or being totally out of shape he will promptly deny the obvious-and then proceed to do mental gymnastics to explain why he is in great shape, its a healthy diet and so on.

He's always out of breath in his videos because he chooses to film immediately after strenuous bouts of exercise.
Calling this into question just makes you a miserable hater!

Its also absolutely hilarious that he always boasts about his ultra low hourly in poker doesent matter because he plays so many hours in a years span so he makes up for it.
As far as i know he have barely been playing any reasonable volume for the last year or even longer than that? He has to be below 300 hours of actual playing time for the past year or maybe even below 200? 2 months totally off in the summer due to dealing, going on such a monkeytilt that he has to leave Vegas and not play for a long time, taking 2 months off at the end of the year++.

Yeah he's just not a poker player. And not even a travel channel because he's only doling out information that was true 20 years ago.
The dude CLEARLY has issues and I think it's only a matter of time before something tilts him enough that he finally snaps. Hopefully he gets the REAL help he needs before that happens.
Sure they would. If Americans pay a hundred bucks for something, and foreigners have to pay the same as Americans, they might be able to sell them worldwide for 90 bucks, and we still get cheaper drugs here.
I don't think you understand what it takes financially to bring a drug to the market. There's a reason Americans get the latest drugs first.
To stop derailing and make a positive contribution to this thread, I offer: ELD walks from his hotel bedroom to kitchen area and is out of breath!
Abby Poker in todays video reports she has been living Nomadically at Borgata for the past two weeks which is substantially over the ideal Nomadic room rates of $10 per night.
Corey is shown on this video to be making himself comfortable in her hotel room while she is out playing poker.
Perhaps I underestimate the economics of the Poker community, but I'd love to know how a "poker pro" who travels the country non-stop can have a biggest score of $6,000. Is she crushing cash in between vlogs? Does her BETMGM sponsorship pay 6-figures? I must have picked the wrong profession...

Tale as old as time in poker rooms. Random woman with a good job and a possible gambling/drug/alcohol problem starts playing poker, dates a lower stakes player and eventually dumps him for a higher stakes or more successful player. Usually the woman isn’t very good at poker/gambling and never improves much, living off of their spouse and/or returning to work. I just hope she doesn’t get one of these guys killed like Cate Hall did.

Sniffing the panties no doubt...classic Corey

Wait Cate Hall got someone killed?
I remember when she ran hot for a little while and thought she was a crusher before she crashed back down to earth but didn't know she got someone killed.
And Abby has been living at borgata for the 2 weeks that makes absolutely no sense. The place is an absolute ghost town since their recent series ended a couple of weeks ago. Must be nice to have sponsors.
We’ve talked about this here before. She led on a 10/25nl MDLive grinder (RIP Niner) — they both did street drugs together, and then she stiffed/reneged on splitting a drug buy, breaking code and then you can imagine where things went from there. Allegedly, she was the hardcore addict that wanted free drugs from a big winner and he was just a good grinder that only smoked weed but liked her.
We all know when a woman pops up in poker without any public or rumored big results, just to assume they are scamming in some way, if you are somehow proven wrong that’s the exception that proves the rule.

One of Abby's main goals this year is to drink more water. I think she can achieve this goal.

Wait… Abby is on the same career path as Marle?

I think she can achieve this goal.
Prediction: Abby will never work a real job the rest of her life.
Like someone said earlier, the story is as old as time.
And she has never worked or quit a six figure job approaching anything close to a year.
I give Abby a legitimate chance to be the best 'scamming' female poker player of all-time.
Has she been in 'Bobby's Room' yet, playing cash games she's not rolled for?
You know that's coming.

If she is scamming she is doing a pretty poor job by picking Corey.
