Pro sues Borgata after bad jokes lead to psych hold and lifetime ban.
Poker pro Scott Robbins is suing Borgata for over $1 million after his jokes about suicide led to a psych evaluation and a lifetime ban from Borgata properties.
A shocking outcome, since jokes about suicide are usually so well received.
Same. One time he was trying to show off for his lady friend (sitting behind him)by making fun of my shirt. It wasn’t light hearted ribbing. It was an insult out of left field completely unprovoked. I hadn’t said one word to him or beat him in a pot. This whole bit about “I’m always nice to players and staff” is complete BS. Guy is a miserable prick and his dog hates him too. FOH.
What recreational-much less a poker pro-brings a date to a poker game? He thought he was gonna impress you all lol. And turned into the butt of jokes for the past four years. Imagine how many people laugh at him offline lol.
If you don't think suicide is a big problem around casinos google Vegas suicide parking garage.
What's next? Can't joke about bombs at the airport? Just another autist poker player making the average woman uncomfortable
So everyone knows about Scott harassing women! Even his “colleagues” (who actually cannot stand to be seated next to him). And how ironic is it that several players suspect that he’s on the spectrum. The jokes keep writing themselves. Mr. “I’m Judging Your Grammar”’s long paragraphs ot a- nonsensical run-on sentences are being critiqued. And he’s surprisingly quiet. I always suspected that he was a coward.
Extremely unstable.
guard99 coming in hot.. but also a little bit unstable
Facts lol. Dude is seriously off his rockers. Inventing imaginary fans. Yet has only 50 followers on twitter. Where he begs for tips lol.
Not sure why the OP and others are implying he was joking, it doesn't say that one time in the article and it's not his claim either. Some people are seriously paranoid and want to know these kinds of things even if it wouldn't matter in the end. Not to mention it's just objectively not funny and the fact he repeated it a few times makes me think he's just a nervous maybe autistic type who just HAD to know. I think it's a good idea to accomodate someone like this a lower floor if possible and/or
Definitely on the spectrum.
one away from 16 now
I’ll bet guard (aka Trex) doesn’t think he is bumping the thread either.
