OOTV doesnt like family comedies much huh? Raising Hope and The Middle are two of the best(possibly the best outside of
Another solid episode of The Pitt.
But I wonder…. Where are the 10-15 minutes of the hours we’re not getting? That’s a lot of missing time.
i was definitely surprised dr rob didnt get himself some xanax and then they'd have him and drug weaning doctor make peace on the fact that sometimes, you need some drugs.
I started yellowjackets last week and holyshit how fun is that show. So much 90s music i'd never heard too.
The White Lotus finale was freaking wild! Too slow of a season overall so I’m glad I waiting to knock most of out until before it. Weakest of the 3 seasons so far, but there were some really great moments for this last one.
Toothless finale

Really disappointing season for me. For a season with so many "kinda nothing happens" episodes, they somehow left a lot of loose ends not really resolved. It was just build build build build and then not really a very satisfactory conclusion.
Some examples:
Spoiler
Are the Ratliffs really going to be broke? How are they going to handle it?
Is Greg/Belinda storyline done?
Valentin just gets away with it all? Gaitok never turns him in?
Gaitok throws away all his belief system because he gets the girl?
The women friends just ... go back to their normal lives?
There's a mass shooting and everyone just says wow wild stuff then leaves on the next boat, laughing and joking away?
The shooting needed to happen in the second last episode, and more than anything, we needed to see the next phase for these characters.
I totally agree but I knew we wouldn’t get much of that at all. It’s was far easier to watch the whole thing leading up to the finale because I’d have lost interest on the week to week. Figured that out in the 2nd season lol

But, except for reoccurring roles, the white lotus never really gets to the phase after vacation for the characters.

I think the Ratliff's are going broke... or whatever broke means to rich people.
The women will almost definitely go back to their normal lives.
I think the Greg/Belinda thing is done. After he transfers the money, then what else is there?
I didn't like the Gaitok ending. Not even about the girl, but with his promotion. That and the fact that he shot Rick in the back.
And I agree about the boat after a shooting.
Re: white lotus
Spoiler
Agree season was kind of meh. Given the major theme is the extreme narcissism of most rich Americans, not surprised that they were portrayed that way on the boat out.
Also re: potential loose ends - if you’re Mike White, isn’t your number one job in the world at this point not doing anything to screw up this gravy train? Travel around to some of the best resort hotels in the world to shoot for a few months every year?
.
Spoiler
You are probably right about the Duke family.
Was the finale a theme about people trying to be the person they want to be, but fail?
Piper turns away from the reason she came to Thailand and then likes the good life too much (only to return home to the opposite).
Belinda always wanted her own business and then turned into Tanya and screwed over a potential business partner.
Gaitok seemed like he didn't want to stay, but changed his opinion when he either got the girl or the promotion that he wanted.
Rick changed at the end, but died in doing so.

Spoiler
Piper the only character with any sort of an arc this season. One of the few finale scenes that I liked was her confessing to her parents that she couldnβt live there
Spoiler
Bolded: wouldβve liked a lot more from this arc. May not have needed it but just more of her in general lol
Italicized: my favorite moment in the finale. No internal debate or struggle at all.
Underlined: he did change but died because he changed back for a bad, brief moment.
the actor who plays the farm boy student doctor on The Pitt, is English. damn they are so good at American accents!!!
he's on a show called Ludwig which is a kinda fun show about a socially inept genius, pretending to be his twin brother detective(who is missing) and solving murders
White Lotus season 3 finale was... okay? Didnt love it tbh.
My girlfriend hated it because it was to dark with almost zero humor, cant say i disagree. It was a far cry from Armond in Season 1
S1 still the best by far imo.
Spoiler
I feel like the whole season theme was about "how do you react when your self image gets destroyed?"
Tim Ratliff goes from rich powerful man to criminal
Saxon goes from stud who can get any girl to being rejected as soulless weirdo who got jacked off by his brother
Piper goes from enlightened deep thinker to princess who can't eat plain food
Three women go from "we are all super best friends" to maybe we kind of hate each other
Gaitok goes from pure hearted Buddhist pursuing innocent love to killer who will compromise anything for his gold digger girl
Belinda goes from pure hearted spiritual healer to manipulative woman willing to do anything to secure her bag
Ironically, all of them seem to have grown by accepting this - even Ratliff seems ready for honesty with his family and to face his consequences.
Who couldn't realign their self image? Rick. Dead. Chelsea (who needed to realize she was with a loser and move on). Dead.
If you wanted more Pipey in the finale,
Spoiler
there was a deleted scene where she loses her v card to Zion
Season 3 of Bosch Legacy living up to expectations
mobland is 9/10
suits: LA ... kinda disappointing imo
