General TV Discussion and Thread for Shows Without A Thread Thread
OOTV doesnt like family comedies much huh? Raising Hope and The Middle are two of the best(possibly the best outside of NBC)comedies on tv yet no threads.
Just an observation.
Meh. I signed up for the Disney+/Hulu combo w/ ads on March 3rd thru the Disney site/app. Today I go to the Hulu site to try and activate my MyDisney login with the actual Hulu app as well and see that they have a sale going on. :/
I might have to cancel this account and sign back up with the deal using my other email/account. I was actually planning to cancel soon anyway to sign up for Peacock to watch The Day of the Jackal.

Episode 3 of Adolescence on Netflix is amazing.
I watched the rest of it and while I didn't love it I was amazed by that kid's acting. I bet he's got a big future ahead of him.
Thinking of signing up for Britbox to see Ludwig.
Anybody on Shoresy?
Just finished s1. Incredible
I just watched the finale to the current season of Invincible. Whew, I think they broke records for body count. What a fight scene.
Settle down
Incredible episode of the Pitt this week. Amazing how they can amp up the tension without

a score. At some point i started thinking that their version of an urban ER was much quieter than that in the original show ER. Just realized this episode that it’s due to the fact that there is no heart-racing background score to elicit stress.

This is going to be my top show of 2025 . What an episode
This shooter put up a high score at PittFest
I’m guessing it’s not the kid from earlier because our precious Dr. Robby would look like an ass.
There’s also no way anything too bad happened to Jake
Jake is the shooter!!!! jk :p
I still say Dr. Javadi (the daughter) is the best actor/actress on the show. Great characters and really good acting all around, but I really believe that character.
she is knocking it out of the park. but the whole cast in general is doing a great job. even the ER patients with tiny roles.
the Dr directly under dr Robbie is standing out to me, putting in a very nice performance. she's doing a lot of heavy emotions very subtly, but clearly.
I like the head nurse performance too, but her blue collar persona is laid on a little too thick for me. she should have backed off on it, since it's not really believable imo. kinda like an actor who might be giving a great performance, but unable to pull of an accent(now watch her actually be Pittsburgh blue collar in real life lol).
but yeah, all the student doctors are giving great performances, and all compelling characters.
I'm so obsessed with the Pitt that I did a rewatch of the first 12 episodes
then I started reading up on all the actors/actresses in it.
actress who plays Mel is Bryan Cranston's daughter
show has GOAT potential
how was the rewatch? I was thinking of doing that too!

.
The one who had an abortion in her pants?
I'm not sure the shooter is important, but it could be.
Spoiler
I think Robbie's son is the more important reveal.
Although it would be messed up if Langdon was the shooter, but I doubt that timeline works out.

I was looking them up too. Saw that she had an acting credit in Breaking Bad but didn't realize it was his daughter. I did, however, learn that Dr. McKay's dad is the voice of Chucky.
Mel is great, btw.

I felt that her performance was solid until the last few episodes, and that's when the persona became a bit much, but some of it probably has to do with the writing and directing. I do find her character believable though.

For sure. I bet that...
Spoiler
Santos gets in trouble for threatening that dad that's on the breathing tube. I don't think he did what she thinks he did. Someone here asked how the show was the second time around, and I only rewatched a few episodes, but that was one of them, and the behavior of the mother and daughter in previous scenes after knowing what was about to happen led me to that guess.
Nurse Jesse (Ned Brower) was the drummer for the band Rooney
now there's a 20 year blast from the past
Reacher ends strongly... another season in the books.
