General TV Discussion and Thread for Shows Without A Thread Thread
OOTV doesnt like family comedies much huh? Raising Hope and The Middle are two of the best(possibly the best outside of
Farscape somehow worked even though on the surface merging sci-fi and Muppets was a crazy idea. Had really good storytelling and characters.
I found it hard to get into today. It was an easy watch at 11am in my bedroom when I was 12 and supposed to be sleeping but so was Andromeda and Beastmaster
saw one episode of beastmaster and thought it was garbage
saw pilot of andromeda and had really high hopes
The Pitt non-Spoiler but prediction.
I think it’s Robbo’s last day. My guess/hope is that he tries one of his ridiculous hail marys and it finally goes terribly wrong.
The head nurse character has flirted with leaving since s1 and her day at the ER has reinforced how needed she is. While Robbo’s day has reinforced how superfluous he is. Whitaker is fully in place as good boy in chief. Doctor AI already has a firm grip on the place. And Landon would clearly be better off without him looming.
I dont know that I can see a season 3 without Dr Robbo but this character is about to hurt. Snapping at HyperCompetent Brown FeDoctor #2 was the final straw.
I saw on reddit that when Army Dr was standing on the ledge, he was wearing his stethoscope while Robbie took his off standing there.
Plus he's giving his house away.
Going away for 3 months.
Theory was he's gonna commit suicide.
I could see a season 2 finale where he gets in a reckless wreck and a season 3 where he is in a coma for a portion. Or that he’s finally waking up from one.
The Pitt isnt known for subtlety but a bike wreck would be ******ed

I like that less, but itβs probably more likely than Dr Miracle making a mistake
In reality i dont think there’s a world where Wyle isnt in season 3.
Revised prediction is that theyve tipped it so hard it actually comes to a head before the end of season 2. Maybe he tries to suicide and Langdon/Head Nurse save him just in time.
S2 ends with him getting the help he needs.
Revised revised prediction is that it’s a cliffhanger. Seems like just the thing this series would do. He’s headed for dangertown but one or more pals is headed toward his rescue and then a fade to black with a tad more ambiguity than this week’s
Yeah Noah Wyle isn’t giving up this golden goose in a million years.
not sure if this golden goose can keep producing though.
season 2 is a pretty big fall off from season 1. i don't see the show being able to return to season 1 quality
I don't see this drop off. Feels exactly like s1 while furthering character developments.
! ! ! ! !
animated....that's stupid lol
Yeah, I was excited when I saw the premise. That turned to, "Well, I don't get Disney+, and I'm not going to start for that."
Couple episodes into Copenhagen Test. Not bad so far
the madison Taylor sheridan's new show about a NYC family living in montana
just say the first episode. it was good. not great, but good.
expected a better performance from Kurt russel. something just seemed kinda off about it.
also kinda weird that sheridan consistently casts absurdly beautiful women in his shows
It looks weak, huge spoiler I won't ruin, but the whole thing with the blonde chick not wanted to say it was a black guy and going on and on about it.
I only watched the first episode.
the one cop suggested a description of 30 years old, guy in a hoodie with two white shopping bags...
that is actually a much more helpful description than black guy in a hoodie.
fwiw, Taylor Sheridan has some absurdly anti woke politics. so I'm sure he's making her out to be an idiot for not describing the guy as black. but honestly, she is saving random black men in hoodies from being terrorized by police

I can't watch that, it's slower than Pluribus.
Has to be done. Cast has aged 20+ years.
The quality of the animation does concern me. Lot of shows I won't watch because of subpar animation so they really have to nail it.
I think an anime style like Cowboy Bebop..the show Firefly gently rips off..would be perfect!
