[CoinPoker] - Ex-Official - Bringing the Game Back to Players
Hello Everyone,
This is the Official Thread of CoinPoker (previous thread)
CoinPoker: The Decentralized Poker Room Built for Players, by Players
Developed by an ambitious team of poker lovers, CoinPoker is a revolutionary platform that uses blockchain technology to address key issues in the poker industry. Despite being far from our vision for CoinPoker as the biggest poker room in the world, our team is proud to be the first project of its kind to deliver on the promises made during its ICO period.
Lengthy payment processing, limited transparency on fair play, as well as a blase attitude towards community feedback are just some of the prevalent problems in today’s online poker world. Since CoinPoker launched at the end of 2017, it has attracted a growing community of players and investors who share the same goal of bringing the game back to players.
Using Decentralized Technology to Ensure Fair Play
One of the key benefits of the blockchain movement is that it empowers users by adding transparency and convenience to traditional services. Poker rooms in particularly reserve the rights to hold player funds and release them at their own discretion, and as a result of complex payment systems simple transfers can be delayed by as much as weeks.
The Benefits of Cryptocurrency Powered Bets
All deposits, withdrawals, and bets on CoinPoker are powered by the cryptocurrency token CHP (Chips). The use of CHP speeds up payments, and gives players the ability to track payments to and from their account on the public Ethereum network.
CHP token holders are able to quickly move funds to and from their CoinPoker account, and for passionate advocates of the project it is a means to invest in the platform as it continues to grow and expand. It is also possible to exchange ETH tokens to CHP inside the CoinPoker app, making it as easy to acquire as one of the most popular assets on the crypto market.
Available on a growing list of exchanges including KuCoin and HitBTC, CHP tokens are in the process of being adopted by other gaming businesses in the near future.
Player Impact Shown on a Decentralized Random Number Generator (RNG)
Fast payment processing is not the only way CoinPoker wields decentralized technology for the benefit of the player. Random number generators (RNGs) used to shuffle decks in a variety of card games (poker included) have often been scrutinized by players as mysterious and, as a result, they are often approached with suspicion.
Trust is essential between a player and poker room for the experience to be optimal, which is why CoinPoker will be introducing a fully decentralized RNG this year. The feature will be the first of its kind in the poker industry, and will give players the possibility to view their impact on dealt hands in a visual dashboard alongside hand history.
Internationally Accessible on Desktop and Mobile
Players from all over the world are able to access our desktop client, and our launch of an Android app has already resulted in thousands of players hitting the tables while on the go. Coming soon is the release of the CoinPoker app for iOS, which we expect to release this summer.
CoinPoker’s Community-Centric Business Model
Central to our operations is carefully monitoring feedback from our players. The success of our ICO is owed to a diverse group of small and large investors, many of whom are now active players, and we feel a strong obligation to make sure their needs and wants are met.
This is why we have invested heavily in hosting epically proportioned promos from the get-go, in line with the promises made during the ICO period.
Millions of CHP Awarded in Large Scale Tournaments and Promotions
Since launching, CoinPoker players were given the opportunity to win a Tesla, collect over 400ETH in various tournament series like ETH Madness, participate in a 10,000,000 CHP Added Crypto Series of Poker (CSOP), and win millions of CHP in daily freerolls
and freebuys.
Introducing Rake after Operating Rake-Free Since the 2017 Launch
After boasting zero rake on games for over half a year, CoinPoker will be introducing rake as a means to facilitate future growth. The revenue will be allocated towards future promotions, development costs, and the funding of new and ongoing partnerships with leading poker associations to establish our brand and give players exciting opportunities to play across the globe.

Checking this now, there is an issue with CHP liquidity and the team is working on a resolution, an official announcement should be going out shortly on this
An email has just gone out to players, I'll copy it here
lol
:(
At least were still able to purchase CHP through the client.
They did not announce the rate you get the swap to new token so tread carefully.
But why it had to be a fooking new **** token, why not simply usdt...omfg.
You will find out owners gave them the new token 10mill for free and for you its 0.1d.
Ya there is no point of having another token compared to just paying out rakeback in USDT.
So people are losing their USDT via CHP and went public.
So we get a new token, there will be a new way to lose your USDT?
Or will people like the ones above get their losses replaced?
Hi,
My tournament lobby and info on the table freezs...
Does anyone has same problem?
There has always been one reason or another that I have decided to not play here. I check back to see if things are improving and they don't. The change to seven handed was an unnecessarily rude choice, that is now being done by shady GG Poker at PLO. The need for **** coin making things way more complicated than needed. And now in the middle of a bull market in crypto there is this planned switch to a new **** coin to mostly benefit not the players. I could go on.
I will say there is one feature here that peaks my interest. Full Tilt Poker came out with Rush poker almost 15 years ago. Fast poker is often called fast FOLD poker. But Coin Poker with the high antes have actually created a format where folding too often is a mistake. More and more people are now playing on their phones. I think if Coin came out with a fast poker game that was different from the rest in that it included an ante worth fighting for and there made folding too much a mistake, then it would be popular. It would correct one of the main complaints about fast poker being that everyone folds too much.
Personally I would prefer lower rewards that were easier to claim.
I was a dummy and cashed out via usdt ETH instead of poly. Going on 2.5 hours wait time. What’s the normal time frame?
All I want to know is can anybody cash out with Bitcoin????
Someone will says I'm a rigtard but it's so scary when some accounts are so so so so so so so lucky.
Unbelievable.
I'm told BTC withdrawals will be added back by tomorrow, planned for today then the client update to be rolled out tomorrow.

ETH is sometimes a bit slower but you should've received it by now DM me if not.
There is a rare bug like that, devs are working on a fix at the moment.
So people are losing their USDT via CHP and went public.

CHP is now back up in price to approx. early Nov levels, so when the new token is rolled out to CHP holders 1:1 hopefully there will be no losses for those who were holding. More announcements should be coming soon too
This is a pure shitshow
Not a good look as a poker business or a crypto project
I'm happy for you buddy but that doesn't change the fact they turned off btc withdrawls when btc pumping like hell and their rb system is a scam because they pulled liquidity.
Something feels off with this site
They clearly had an issue with their cashier when rake back on Monday got issued as usdt instead of chp. That's obviously a massive problem and needed to be fixed. Sometimes bugs happen and take time to get sorted.
Sucks that it was during BTC ripping but could of also just as easily been the opposite and you're just being results oriented.
I do agree the chp setup is clunky and not ideal but I give them some credit for trying something different. They've obviously taken into account that people don't like it and are trying to adjust.
I've had nothing but good experiences with coin after having some absolutely miserable experiences with other sites and am very happy to have them as an option being a US player. Pretty much the only site I feel safe playing on.
Looks like you can cash out with btc again. Just have to wait and see what happens with chp now.
If I bought CHP in the CoinPoker app right now, I'd get about 17.7 CHP for every USDT. According to CoinMarketCap, 1 USDT is worth 23.4 CHP. The difference is way more than 5% (the so-called exchange fee).
I guess I should wait until they introduce that new coin? Too bad I'm not receiving rakeback without CHP.
Yeah, I know a group of people that is willing to play on coinpoker on a near future, but that not so easy to claim CHP reward system is making a pretty big barrier entry for now. Gonna wait until some improvements happen on this matter.

Honestly if you play full time it doesnt matter.
You get RB via CHP every monday and use that to pay rake.
Personally for me, the CHP usually runs out in 3-4 days and i will buy more.
I know roughly how much i pay in rake daily, so i keep a minimum on the account.
Its like an endless cycle, end of day its not important if its chp system or pay with usdt, end result is the same.
It only becomes problem if you get more than you can spend to rake, i believe for most players thats not the case.
However i think there should be an option to swap it for usdt in soft.
