[WSOP.com Nevada] Unofficial thread
Since WSOP locked their thread, why can't we have our own?
Other than the initial deposit bonus, and the MONEY bonus code, are there any additional codes that anyone is aware of? I’m only asking because MONEY was never listed on the WSOP site, and I’m hoping there are more codes that aren’t listed…..
I'm trying to figure out something here and I was hoping that someone with better excel skills could help. So if you go to reports on your account menu, you can get a pdf emailed of your account statement. This is actually a lot more useful than the old software which just generated the picture in the app and was way too buggy to scroll. Now you can just take this pdf and convert it to excel. I just used the free tool on adobe's website. I attached a sample screen shot of what this looks like below. It obviously goes on for many more columns than the snip below.
So I can filter by transactions to and from game to get total wins, total loses or just net. What I want to do is create a table where it shows net win/loss filtered by day for tax purposes. Right now every single transaction is done by exact time and the transactions include every time you top off or leave a table. I have a tiny bit of experience creating pivot tables at work but this well beyond my scope of knowledge.
Any assistance would be appreciated.
A sample showing acutal cash games.

thought about doing this too im ok with excel but ive learned everything is sucha case by case thing that u either need to be an expert or learn for each use case.
in ur example i think things could get easily messed up if u play a session that goes into the next day. From a poker variance side of things i want to point out winners with proven winrates can break even over 100k hands which may take you months to get thru.... which kinda makes taxes silly but im no tax advisor just wanted to point that out. Check out prime dope for the variance calculator or check out carrot corner on youtube "poker variance is way crazier than you think" i think is the title
a few things id recommend to look into
windows power automate == can move ur mouse and click / do repetitive things for u which this scrolling might be.
windows power toys has a text extract feature which is pretty good messes up with some fonts.
sorry i didnt really answer but just think those things help some or for another thing u may encounter
the toughest thing is usually just getting the data into columns
then youd need some formula to the right thats subtracting what u left with - buyin
shes pretty good and seems close to what ur looking for
im kinda dumb rn ive been playing for 13 hours so give me a day or so to look things over again and i can give a few more ideas to get u on the right track.
chat gpt is actually pretty good at that. ask it piece by piece then ask it to put that together
index match maybe needed to match table / game name
or if theres no table names
theres that video which you just get the day cells, then sum those, and maybe youd need to sum that with your BR total
I emailed Danielle Barille about 7Pair after I compiled a bunch of evidence. I had a very detailed spreadsheet with screenshots and it was quite damning. She never responded, but it's safe to say that guy got banned, or at least warned to the point that he didn't bother returning. I know others in here emailed support about that issue around that time, but it might be worth emailing both Danielle and the general support email for things like this.
The email I have for her is [email]dbarille@caesa
i just saw this thread about the fair play check and have to chime in
what they need to do is add the exact seconds to the time tracked because you never know if they are just checking the hand right after which may show up in the the same minute.
also, you could just get every tough reg banned by running the boards out while theyre in a pot, then emailing wsop saying omg look hes checking every pot when you were the one doing it
and lastly i do think players need to self police because sites have always been so incompetent
i do think gto lines are profitable but remember theyre made to break even vs itself --- so running the pre solved hands vs players who arent close to those GTO lines only can hurt so much.... if they are node locking ur ranges from a lot of data from a hud then yea thats very bad
for example --- if u run gto wizard and it says call so you always call ur pretty much an idiot because if u played NJ poker long enough u know people are pretty tight
I requested a withdrawal a week ago and it's still pending.
Has this been the norm since they switched to the new software?

I requested an ACH withdrawal a month or so ago. It took just under a week if I recall correctly. I requested one again a couple weeks ago. Nine days later, it was still pending so I reversed it and immediately requested cash at cage. It was approved two hours later.

ok thanks. i remember they were taking forever for a long time but in the last year or so had gotten a lot better.
Recently was waiting over 10 days to process a withdrawal to PayPal. Finally sent an email, someone responded the next day and pushed through my pending withdrawals. Weird that it takes an email or phone call to have an efficient process. But I recommend it if you’ve been waiting for a while.
this is j1mmythegents info. Something sus to me, is he lives in the state of NJ, yet he has never logged any cash sessions on NJ poker skins, and exclusively plays on wsop. One of the most shameless players on site. buttons people, and leaves immediately after recreational busts.
Noted. Ive played with him. He is on the nittier side. I havent paid attention to the notes you mentioned so I cant confirm.
Hmm, have some strong suspicions RTA still happening on this site at higher stakes (2knl). Just curious if anyone has had any positive interactions with support about this.

we got 7pair kicked off the site for rta. have u found any hands on fair play check? ive found fairly significant mistakes from pretty much every reg (some more than others obv) but i think its unlikely anyone is rta right now
What’s the most tables, cash or tournaments, you have been able to play at once without it crashing? I know 10 tables is max possible for cash games (anyone know the max for tourneys?). But say cash/tourneys combined, or just tournaments? Whats the most you’ve been able to sit at and have open?
For me 10 is the max. Followed by a crash within minutes. I have to dial it back to 8 for it to be semi-playable while still experiencing crashes here and there.
Just hopping on to say how much I hate this ****ing software. I bought a new pc (Lenovo yoga 9 laptop) before coming out and when playing 4-6 cash game tables it crashes on average every 20-30 minutes. I called support (basically useless) they said they would escalate the issue and I would hear in 24-48 hours… that was 2 weeks ago obv.
The weird thing is that when I was grinding tournaments (4-6 tables) I maybe got one crash in total… from dozens of hours of play. I can’t figure it out. It seemed at one point like it would crash right in the middle of the hand ending noise (hmmm maybe I should turn of some sounds?) but that’s not always the case. I share all the frustrations with you guys, it’s insane that this software passed whatever tests it needed to be released.
Why can’t online poker just be ****ing normal? God I miss 2004-BF…

It would be nice if we can get a timeframe of when the software will be fixed. The series is over now, so all their attention should be on these software problems. I also have experienced similar crash frequency you stated with 6-8 tables open. I have a brand new laptop as well.
Some have stated they experience no crashes with Macs. I also know a tournament player who uses a PC and has experienced no crashes whatsoever. I have yet to find a multi-tabling cash game player with no crashes on a PC.

My own personal irony is that I passed on buying a MacBook Air thinking a PC would have less issues with the new software… LOL@me

Could you possibly list names of suspicion. Ive been battling a little at 2kNL and would like to keep an eye on.
I'm wondering if this software works better with Windows 10 than Windows 11. Are there Windows 10 users who consistently get crashes?

I remember seeing a couple users report they had crashes while on Windows 10, although I don’t know if frequency of crashes is better compared to 11.
One thing I’ve noticed, when you suffer a crash, I’m sure all of us close out asap and log back in to return to our current hands (hopefully in time).
But when you return, all the tables that you return to seem to be infected or glitched. For example, the auto top-off for cash game no longer works, you have to manually top-off/add to your chips each time. But guess what causes crashes? Clicking on the add chips button to manually do it. Not every time but the further along into a session you are, it happens. Same with hand replayer, you can view it as soon as you return from a crash, but the further along into your session, it will be blacked out, only showing usernames and a black table.
So I thought, ok. How about I just close out the cash table so it refreshes and reopen another one or the same one, and sit again. Another thing that causes crashes for me? Closing out a table. So you’re screwed either way. I can close out a table as soon as I return from a crash but not after I’ve played for a decent amount of time.
What else’s triggers a crash? Clicking on the hand replayer. Again, not when you first return from a crash but the further you get into a session, it will happen. You’re hoping it won’t. But you never know when it’s going to be the time it does.
It will eventually crash by itself if you play long enough without clicking any of things I said above. Last night I went from 8 tables, down to 4-6. Played 5 hours, suffered 5-6 crashes. I still experienced them with 4-6 open. Granted a couple were some of the “infected/glitched” out tables I stated earlier that remained from early in my session.
Lastly, the warning signs your tables are glitched out, crash incoming within ~15 minutes: extra animations blacked out, rabbit hole blacked out, hand replayer opens but is blacked out.
I’m stating all this about the glitched out tables upon return to just say that I believe this is a WSOP software issue. It’s possible it doesn’t affect some machines for whatever reason. But the fact that it’s so messed up post-crash on these tables, makes me believe it’s something to do with the software not being able to handle that many tables or possibly that too many hand histories are being logged/processed by the software at once? Who knows. Something is causing it to be unstable. Just doesn’t seem like it’s being caused by not having a fast enough computer. Brand new PC here. I9 processor, 32gb ram, Win 11.

My withdrawal finally got approved today after 10 days. It wasn't even for a lot of money. Really pathetic turn around time.

I have Windows 10, and it's basically everything you just said. I have all the extra animations turned off though. Also, opening notes on someone can cause the crash. As far as frequency, sometimes it seems about every 15 minutes. Sometimes, I can go for over an hour, but I'd say once or twice per hour is average for me. I can almost always log back in on time, but I did fold KK in a 4-bet pot the other day. I think my time bank was too low because of a previous crash. Not only is this super annoying, but is financially costly in some instances.
Will build a case against reg in question before anything further but I don't put in much volume so may never happen. I think most of the guys at 1k and 2k still make mistakes, do stylistic stuff, and/or they are just good at the game. Seems like mostly humans.
At this point personal RTAs are so cheap now that fair play check doesn't do much IMO. GL all.
