Global is awesome. I believe they have been around a lot longer also. Take times to works bugs out.
The pretty funny thing about these sweeps sites is that you’re purchasing the gold coins and the sweeps coins are, by law, free. There’s nothing stopping you from calling your credit card company and saying hey, I spent none of my gold coins. I want a refund. With global poker, I actually recommend it. That place is a cesspool. You report users for collusion and support literally doesn’t even respond.
At least it isn't overrun with bots and terrible games like Ignition and ACR. And the software works. Globals just the best US option tbh.
Global’s company VGW said they are beginning banning NY State June 2nd.

Yes i Believe WPTGold launching with sweepstakes model is the reason why the Bill to ban was escalated and passed after being in limbo for years. There are also many other states pending.
There is likely some money behind pushing the bill from sites that had to go through regulation (WSOP, Stars, etc.)
Global advertises that they’ve given away 50 million in sweeps coins. There is overlay for most tournaments. It’s a low volume site. How in God’s name, outside of lying unabashedly, does that make financial sense to you? There is nefarious **** going on. But this is about the RNG. Seriously- deposit $50 and just watch a few hands.

For example, I refuse to play underground private games because of the great risk of being cheated. Will I be cheated? I don’t know for certain. Can I prove it? Nope.
But I’m a grown man who can make a responsible decision based on inference and factors.

Agreed, I don’t have a Twitter account but do support publicly shaming him and calling him out on that platform would probably be the most optimal method. That’s the best way to actually put some pressure and hopefully get resolution.

Why are SNGs basically hidden? Global has no problem running them because they are better advertised on the software. I think WPT needs the tabs to be RING GAMES, MTTS, AND SNGs. Right now SNGs aren't running because they are at the bottom of a laundry list of tourneys. Do better WPT!

how can I make the table bigger when I open a new one? its always so tiny its annoying having to resize it but theres no btn to copy a certain size everytime a new table opens
Public WiFi’s, hotspots seem to be a problem when it comes to geolocation (which is ridiculous for 2025) and it seems like the only reliable thing is to be on a personal WiFi and not be in a border state or by a reservation.
Hopefully they can get this geolocation issue fixed because a lot of ppl are having this problem but it’s been more than a month and their development team seems to be behind to put it nicely.

It just makes zero sense that you can log in fine using your phone or computer via browser while on a personal WiFi yet only the client won’t geolocate properly.
There hasn’t been any site maintenance in a few weeks either or any new client updates to download.
I searched the issue on Google and saw this statement on FB claimed by one guy using Starbucks public WiFi to get the client to work on his laptop.
The new T&C are really something. It’s clearly laid out that this is for “entertainment purposes only and nothing else” (not to win through skilled play cause they’ll throttle it)
Forget that it’s touted by pros as the best play to play “safe and legal” poker
There will never be any refunds from collusion or bots so don’t expect it
We really need GG to pay off the politicians harder than the tribes (here in CA) and get actually legal online REGULATED certified RNGs

You know, maybe it’s just me, maybe it’s just my luck, but anytime I’m top 30 in a MTT my 80% favorites for top 5 stacks go up in flames.
I have so many screenshots of losing b2b2b 80% favorites deep across many MTTs so if you see CrumBum and I’m all in call with any suited Ace(even off sometimes) 77 or 22

Gave it a rest for awhile after the complaints/RNG whining I posted here a few days ago. Log in tonight for the first time since, first big pot I play is all in on the flop with top set against AA and middle set, turn A, river quads for middle set so I lose to both. That's enough wpt gold for me.
