If you study engineering there's a good chance you'll never need an original idea.

Not to defend him or his incompetence, but if he's attending a big university in Europe he might not be able to talk to a professor about stuff like that. My undergrad classes in business school had 500+ students. But he should be able to talk to a tutor or research assistant.

I live in Europe and the only thing teachable is the courses but most of them are not full so the teachers don't give a **** about us. No one and no teacher has any interest in us because the classes are not placed in the university campus site.I have 2 courses where the teacher is a bitch and instead of giving us the free courses we have to join her class and to be honest the class itself is so boring.
