Netflix "Watch Instantly"
I just recently rejoined Netflix and was pleased to see they have added a "Watch Instantly" feature where you can stream a movie over the internet. The selection of movies/shows is subpar, but it's free baby! Well, free as in no extra charge. You can watch 1 hour for every dollar/month your subscription is and it doesn't affect your queued/shipped movies at all. Minuses are that you have to be running Windows and Internet Explorer, but the quality is great! I have a garbage laptop, but it looks the same as a DVD to me and it hasn't skipped/paused/hiccuped once so far.
After watching the first 3 of Reacher new season, I just happen to see on the screen that the bossman is Anthony Michael Hall, I never would have guessed. lol
Ep3 of YellowJackets was some trippy stuff.
Just finished Brooklyn Nine-Nine last night. It was recently recommended, and we loved it. Very funny. Love Michael Schur for enjoyable, uplifting comedy.
However, has anyone else noticed all the jokes and references in Brooklyn Nine-Nine that were used in Ted Lasso, including goldfish, work in progress, he's fine, she seems nice, and Charles Boyle's going gray? I know many are common jokes/sayings, but it was really weird noticing them all (I've forgotten a few -- it just kept happening).
Something I didn't realize at the time. The voice of the Lumon building in S2E1 of Severance was Keanu Reeves.

I also enjoyed it a lot, watched with my best friend, good memories, good times
The penultimate episode today of "Paradise" was great. I can't wait for the season finale. It was renewed for season 2.
Anyone who bailed is missing out.
It's just a sunnier, much more straightforward version of Silo imo - 6.5/10
i liked reacher S1 and S2, but now i've seen Alan R. (main character) on the colbert show, and he was extremely arrogant and not very likable (like trying to be the tough guy he plays on the show but in real life), and now i can't really enjoy S3 anymore (wish i hadn't seen that ;-)))
Well you're good to watch Blue Mountain State, which is pretty funny, where he plays an ******* jock.
The other day, I was binge-watching my favorite series on Netflix when a thought hit me—how does Netflix make money if they don’t run ads like YouTube? With all the high-budget movies and exclusive shows they produce, their revenue model had to be more than just subscriptions.
Curious, I started digging and found this interesting breakdown of
. Turns out, apart from subscriptions, Netflix earns through licensing deals, partnerships, and even their new ad-supported plan. It’s fascinating how they’ve managed to stay ahead in the streaming war!I got bored at times with the second season of Silo. It fell into the same trap that plagued the Star Wars franchise for a bit -- that is, thinking that the audience really wants a deep dive into the political machinations of the world.

Yeah and Silo has way too many (thus) mediocre actors, I wouldn't rate it much higher, however intriguing it might have started
Wow. Was that spooky as heck or what? I happened to watch Marianne (2019) tv series episode 1 of 8 episodes. It is on Netflix in French with eng subtitle. That is one of the most well-done scary episodes of horror of I've ever scene. Mostly done by great acting. Gave me the shivers. Maybe one of you guys would like it. I'm not sure I can handle another episode.

Eh, I think it was more a writing problem. Tim Robbins, Harriet Walter, Rebecca Ferguson, and Steve Zahn are all good actors. I agree that Common is terrible and a lot of supporting cast is forgettable.

No thank you.
