A few years ago I fell into the midst of about two dozen '32 Ford coupes in Mitchell SD. Every one of them was the same color. I wouldn't call it a rally; perhaps a Deuce Drop.
I talked to one of the drivers for a few minutes outside the fabled Corn Palace. They were on a road trip of their own. I forget their route, but it was about a thousand miles. I can't imagine the sense of adventure and the kind of faith a person would need to participate in that.
Coworker- "Seinfeld was the funniest sitcom ever!"
Me- "You like Curb?"
Coworker- "Never seen it"
That none of the schools in the Missouri Valley Conference are actually in the valley of the Missouri river.
That I'm unable to nit people up with it's "none is" rather than "none are".
But is that really what’s going on in a sentence like “none of your words is carefully chosen”? Not quite. Here, “none” isn’t a pronoun meaning “words.” The “of” before it indicates that “none” is instead referring to a subset of “words.” And a subset could mean one word or numerous words.
Terrible logic. If the subset were multiple words, that would still allow for one (or more) word being carefully chosen, which is exactly what the speaker is claiming is not the case.

This is good. Definitely shouldn't piss you off. Who cares what your title is, as long as they're paying you fairly.
Now, if they delay the extra cash as well, then you should be pissed off.
