New fast food discussion/review thread
OK OOT, it's been a while since we had a devoted fast food thread around here and I think it's time we had a new one.

Do you have to have a game ticket, or anyone that can get to a CFA? If I lived there, I have to admit, it's something that might actually get me interested in L.A. sports.
My record is not as good as yours, but I've only paid for one CFA sammich. Mostly because I've only had one. I'm not the biggest fan of chicken and I generally got food on my way home from work, and the only CFA I knew of was not on that route. The few times I was in the mood, the line was too long.
Since I moved away from the big city 8 years ago, and I have no idea if there are any within a couple hours, it's unlikely I'll ever have another one.
It's for everyone not just people who went to the game. You get free fries at Ricks the next day anytime the Golden Knights score a goal in the first period. During the last game they just started another thing for 2 free tacos at Taco Bell if they score 2 goals in a period but that one is only for ticket holders.
Sonic has $1.49 chili-cheese coneys every Thursday for a limited time.
But the All American dog is still $3.29? lol
Oh, apparently you can order the chili-cheese coney, then customize it into an All American dog and still get the $1.49. I do prefer the chili-cheese version but if I'm grabbing two I'd rather have two different dogs.
all yall's slutty coney talk has transported me back to nostalgia days of high school cruising.
think native american graffiti, sonic was at one end of the gut

To get a sandwich you need to open the cfa app after the event (usually around 10pm) but before midnight. The sandwich gets loaded under rewards and good for 3 days.

Yep. The "main drag" we cruised when I was young had a Sonic on it. Part of each lap included circling through Sonic. Every other lap at a minimum. Good times.

Lucky dogs (not the NOLA ones)!
When I was in HS there was only one national chain FF place in my hometown. Fortunately there was a plethora of drive-in beer joints that not only served hamburgers and cheeseburgers but also underaged patrons!
One served the best cheeseburger I've ever had. It is my gold standard--and has not come close to being equaled yet! They also brought draught beer in a frosted glass mug to your car. Heaven but didn't know it!
hang that tray on the window roller skate woman
LOL trays. We wished for women. Girls. Alas, only boys 18 and under--some were probably only 10 y/o toting beer. Maybe even younger.
We had to get the beers inside the cars in case the cops cruised by and were feeling frisky. Or somebody's parents drove by! Lots of paper bags for the yummy 10c burgers though!
Trays would also have impeded many of the social activities that were fueled by cheap beer.
How did you know!?! :p
Today only (01/31) - Seven Eleven is giving away free Slurpee's, for making it thru the "longest month of the year"
At participating 7-Eleven, Speedway and Stripes stores nationwide. One small Slurpee per customer (does that mean it requires another purchase? Don't know.)
Was in a part of town I don't get to much, saw an El Pollo Loco. Haven't seen one of those around town for years, so figured I better stop.
A little disappointing. Chicken slightly dry. Don't get a drink with the purchase of a meal. Mac & cheese seemed to be Kraft.
It was ok, but I'm not going to hurry back.

There are two meal options. (Combo and meal? Or something like that) One has a drink and the other doesn't. I like the no drink option!
BTW, Raising Canes also allow's you to delete a drink. It removes a nickel from the bill. (smh) I had a free lemonade and ordered a box combo sans drink.
i've heard Los Pollos Hermanos is the place to go for chicken
Well, sure, next time I'm in ABQ.
I went to the site when I was down there maybe 8 years ago. It's a local Mexican chain called Twisters, actually pretty decent.
While they had BB stuff on the walls, did not see Mr. Fring. Maybe it was after his unfortunate accident.
one of my simple pleasures is finding opportunity to say chicken man
