GTO+/CardRunnersEV?

I have tried over here, and I can't seem to reproduce this.
Can you perhaps send a savefile to support, for a tree where this happens for you?
As well as a description of which actions lead up to the crash?

I only use this function with databases, the files are a few GBs, and I think it's happening with pretty much all of them. It is always after clicking on the nodes for the strategies then clicking back at the "Play against solution" icon. But if you can't find a reason, very likely to be only on my end. But this problem wasn't happening a few months ago though.

Ok, I'll see if I can reproduce the issue.
But if you could send any savefile to support, it would be greatly appreciated.
It's entirely possible that it's related to some sort of setting in your tree, which would make it difficult to reproduce without the actual tree.

hello when going to process all files in given folder, switching between use basic storage and extensive storage doesnt work, in both cases it always solving and saving extensive

I have checked, and it seems to work over here.

There's 3 settings available:

Setting 1: Use basic storage for all files
In the first setting, the button is greyed out.
Whichever setting for "Basic/Extensive" is used in the files themselves will be applied to the solver.

Setting 2: Use basic storage for all files
All files will be solved with "Basic" storage.

Setting 3: Use extensive storage for all files
All files will be solved with "Extensive" storage.

Hi there,
I have a couple of *.gto files which are solved, but in the database distribution window the navigation buttons through the tree and the average values in the table are missing.
Any idea what yould have caused this? see figure below. The smaller insert shows the corrupt file

Can you please update to v164?
After that, if you mouse over the area where the navigator would usually be, a popup will tell you why it was not possible to create aggregate data.
If you need an explanation of what the popup means, then post a screenshot here (or send one to support).

As you can see I was running already v164. A de-install and new installation did not help.

With files where it works the navigator works but looks as before, not as the picture shown on your website

Is it possible for you to send this savefile to support?

PS:
If its size is too large, then you can scale it down by first storing it with "File->Save: Convert to Basic Storage".
Although this storage method will remove all "Extensive" data from the file, it should be sufficient for figuring out why the navigator is not being displayed.

I have send you an email with the link, because the file is too large (184 trees) even in the basic mode. Note that if I open only a subset of trees the problem appears to disappear.
183 or 173 does not work but something below 170 works.
I have many files with the same number of trees, larger in size, and those work.

Scyla I made a 780 solution for BTN BB 4bp and I want to see aggregate but its not working.
I set donk for 25% size. I want to see the BTN's frequency when BB checks.

In order to compare the trees, it's probably easiest to open up two windows of GTO+.
Then, load one of the trees in each window, and go to the 2D navigator (see the screenshot below).
When looking at the entire 2D strategy, it's usually a lot easier to quickly spot differences.

If the issue persists, then please send a savefile for both trees to support, and we'll check why they are considered to be different.
You can scale down the size of the savefiles by storing them with "File->Save: Convert to basic storage".
A quick way to extract a single tree from the database is to go to "Run solver" and use "ALT+right-click" on that tree in the database.

PS:
When comparing the trees in the 2D navigator, you may need to navigate to some of the turn/river sub-lines for both trees.

Hi Scylla I got your advice and checked the tree and the trees had some differences so I made new file to make a database.
Still GTO+ doesnt show the frequency. This time it doesnt tell me why.

Can you send the savefile to support?
To scale down its size, you can store it with "File->Save: Convert to Basic storage".

PS:
Make sure to store the scaled down savefile as a separate file.
Once it has been scaled down to "Basic", it can not be scaled up to "Extensive" anymore.

Any plans for the feature to run and be able to export a big batch of hands played by the software against itself? (in various poker rooms formats) like PIO 3 has?

Hand histories can be exported by clicking on the "Export" icon in the lower right.

I mean have a gto bot play itself millions of hands and export those in a format that can then be imported into H2N. For establishing base stats to compare to population data.

You can make GTO+ auto-play itself, by, instead of clicking on "SIT DOWN", using CTRL+right-click instead.

Hey Scylla, one more question, please...

I have some older sims which when opened with the new version of gto+ don't show aggregate turn and river stats for the databases , just on flop.
Is there a workaround this?

The aggregate turn/river data is only available for databases solved with more recent versions of GTO+ (I believe that we started to include this data from v155 forward).
However, if the database was solved with "Extensive" storage, then turn aggregate data can still be reconstructed by pressing CTRL+ALT+U.

Yes, to set up an MTT, under "Build tree", select the tab "MTT".
