This is the support thread for 888/Party/StarsCaption, multi-purpose utilities for the 888, bwin.party, Poker Stars site
Is there a plan for starscaption to work with the new US client (pokerstars on fanduel);
StarsCaption will not work with this new client, because it's not on Stars engine anymore, it's on iPoker engine
Therefore, this poker client will require a different program. I don't have a program for iPoker and I don't plan to write one in the near future.
Maybe someday I'll get around to developing iPokerCaption, but unfortunately I don't have time for that right now (I'm working on CoinCaption now and it takes up all my time)
For now you can try to use one of tools that supports iPoker (I think iPoker Tools and Intuitive Tables support it)

Can in StarsCaption be set custom bet box to use multiplier of the previous bet instead of BB or %?
Can I request it then?
I think it can be very useful, because if I want to 3Bet lets say 4.5x, then it's hard to calculate if opponent use 2.25BB raise or 2.3BB raise etc.

For now - if you don't want to use just a HUD button with raise*4.5 formula, then you can use [PreBetSize] HUD tag and a mouse wheel. This tag will show you a raise value in x form, so you can just change a bet value using the wheel until you have x4.5 in it

I hope you do that. Ipokertools gives a lot of problems and is not a stable software! A lot of issues and problems! Support are awful and only answer when is in good mood and seems he is doing you a favor!
I really hope you invest in this in the near future cause you will win a lot of costumers! Nowadays all of the spin schools are still playing there.

Hi I've had an issue since a winstall where my OR sizings are no longer working, despite just pasting the config file across (and settings looking fine)
It's basically the only thing I use it for, at a loss why it's no longer working reliably.

I didn't have it configured to always run as admin, but I was manually running as admin (same with all my poker clients/software)
I have changed the setting in properties/compatibility, and will let you know later if it has fixed it or not.
If still not working I will produce some screenshots when I next post.

Didn't end up playing stars yday and couldn't find old screenshot but the 2.5x BvB isn't working either, it defaults to 3x and I'm having to manually type down to 2.5x.
At the very least I'll do a tester session later and find out if setting to "run as admin" in compatibility might've somehow fixed it? But I always open sites/software as admin anyway.

Most likely you also have configured some bets there and it does them after StarsCaption

You're correct these settings were turned on, I'll find out later if this has fixed it. I only have a tiling bundle but maybe juro default settings changed and are causing the conflicts?

You were absolutely correct LikeAA, toggling these juro settings has got both starscaption and IPT working as desired now.

This prevents the table from activating in certain situations. Specifically, the program will be able to click table buttons in the background (for example, you can click a table button by hotkey and it won't pop up).
This is primarily intended for those playing Expresso in stacks and using auto rematch. Using this option will allow the program to click a button in the background and the table will not jump to the top of the stack when the auto-rematch is triggered.
In addition, activation of betscript also causes the table to pop up, and this option can't prevent it. To prevent it, use Options / Init betbox for table under mouse.
In this case, activation of betscript will be delayed until the mouse is over the table.

They allow to increase pod size, shape and size of pocket cards:

1. You need Effective stack size filter here, and any simple formula (you can use 13bb or 99bb):
2. In the simplest case, you can use a general formula for open-raising and isolating, such as
2.5bb+pot-bb-sb-antes
If you want to configure some specific sizing for this situation, then you can try to use something like this:
Here preflop is filtered and there have been no raises yet, but there's already more than 3.4bb in the pot (bb, sb and two limps is 3.5bb at least)
