I'm quite amazed that one man has the power to do some much anti-democratic damage in such a short space of time and it seems to be within his powers, and the response/fightback be so toothless.
Republic my arse, you guys are heading for an empire. I gve it 2 months, tops, before there's an EO stating something like 'insurrectionists/traitors will be shot' or similar. Or a few days after the first bit of civil unrest generated by all these undemocratic changes... and Trump will want even more executive powers based on such civil unrest, and the Republicans will probably grant them...
