Donald J. Trump (For everyone else)
I assume it's still acceptable to have a Trump thread in a Politics forum?
So this is an obvious lie - basically aimed at
I don't know anything about these people and definitely don't trust the administrations guess that they were in gangs.
I root for USA to not be a dictatorship where the administration ignores the judiciary. I've accepted that you're going to win on this one, but I don't have to like it.
I think this guy is live to lock down worst president of all time. Truly he's got equity for that now.
The wars are ending. Illegals are being shipped out. Terrorist supporters are being shipped out. The Gazans are gonna have a nice new home. Government waste is finally being addressed. The Houtis and Iran are being dealt with. Europe and Canada are going to even things out trade wise. We might even make Canada our 51st state so we don't have to deal with their nonsense anymore.
I hated Trump in his first term. He has been outstanding in his second term.

Ah yes !
The old strategy of : Trump stop the wars by making them …

Trump launches large-scale strikes on Yemen's Houthis, at least 31 killed
War is peace.

Attacking the Houthis is in the best interest of the world. Biden let them attack US warships and disrupt the free movement of cargo ships. Trump is doing something about this.
This isn't starting a war this is us taking care of business. It's strange how even the Trump haters can't see this. You don't see how this is a good thing?
Liberals love there want to be gotcha moments. It's a shame they don't think things through first.

I’m just quoting what u said .
“Trump ending wars” shrug .
Now you say it’s ok to do war under certain condition ?
Ps: only your type care so much about gotcha moment’s lol.
The proof is u bringing it up, not me …
All I did is show you what u said was already in the news around the world …
But are you telling us Biden started Ukraine war and Gaza too ?
But nice strawmen tho …..
Can we crowdsource a hooker for Lucy or something? He seems very pent up and I’m sure $6 is all we’ll need
Looks like Trump is going to treat some of Biden pardons as invalid because they were purportedly signed by "autopen", this will be fun in court i guess
Ignoring a judges order to not deport people for a couple weeks and then laughing in his face about it.
Least.
Powerful.
Executive.
Evah!!!
The founding fathers feared a figure completely devoid of character like Trump, and thus built in many guardrails. Like separation of powers and impeachment. Unfortunately the GOP no longer can tell right from wrong. The guardrails held through Nixon, but the transformation of the from GOP Conservative ideologues to cultist ******s is now complete. Ain’t no going back.
Fortunately the founders included other guard rails to protect against tyranny, like the 2nd Amendment.
The ******s are in charge. Buckle. Up.
Unsurprisingly these were pardons of Trump's political enemies - J6 committee.
Dictator much?
Actual problem is that the signature on those pardons is different than the signature on the pardons for Biden family members.
I have no clue about how to litigate the hypothesis the president didn't actually sign them, or wasn't sane of mind when he did. But i think it's quite an interesting topic for courts to tackle, and it has nothing to do with dictatorship or lack thereof.
What do you do if you are convinced that the president was actually demented when he made some decisions? can those decisions be reversed? is there no legal recourse at all? because we know there is a decent chance Biden was actually demented at the time right?
This is something that decades from now could be relevant again, you think it's worthless to discuss, and try in court? maybe if in Wilson time they tried it in court now we would have a definitive answer.
Jan 6 committee members have nothing to fear anyway as they didn't break any law afaik. Not even obvious a grand jury would indict them for anything
Be kinda funny if they go through this and all Uncles Joes pardons get bounced except the ones for his family
Atlantic: How Republicans Learned to Love High Prices
After spending most of the 2024 campaign blaming Democrats for inflation and insisting that tariffs don’t increase prices, Donald Trump and his allies have a new economic message: High prices are good.
Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, for example, recently admitted to the Economic Club of New York that inflation-weary Americans could see a “one-time price adjustment” from Trump’s tariffs, but he quickly added that “access to cheap goods is not the essence of the American dream.” Representative Mark Alford of Missouri told CNN, “We all have a role to play in this to rightsize our government, and if I have to pay a little bit more for something, I’m all for it to get America right again.” And Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick put his own spin on the argument, telling NBC News that, yes, prices on imports will rise, but American-made goods will get cheaper, and that’s what matters. (In fact, tariffs generally lead to price increases for imported and domestic goods, because the latter face less foreign-price competition.)

Somehow every single Trump overreach is an interesting case for you because you're not really a libertarian, you're an authoritarian bootlicker.
