Trump's Christianity is a very confusing aspect of his presidency.

It is such an obvious lie and awkwardly performative that it looks out of place even in American politics where lip-service to Christianity seems mandatory.

The man makes money on Trump bibles for crying out loud, and to make it even worse they are mixed with political texts and cherry-picked excerpts from US law. And for all its nationalist bluster, it is cheaply printed abroad using low quality imitation materials and falls apart when read. Which I guess is fitting enough, but still absurd. Like the Trump coins, the whole thing is licensed by CIC Ventures LLC, the company that makes money on the Trump brand and profits him directly.

Not to mention that his life, even during his presidencies, reads like someone who treats the ten commandments as a bucket list.

At least they're taking his name off the JFK Center for the Performing Arts, under a court order. Putting it up there in the first place wasn't the worst thing he's done, but it was a bit bloody much. A crowd gathered to watch the men at work on the scaffolding.
