Just because someone thinks your communism is both absurd and evil, doesn't mean they are propagandized. Communism is extremely evil, on par with Nazism. If it's not obvious from its tenets (that is sufficient by itself), its real-world results should provide plenty of fodder.

The theme through all this evil is the notion of centralized power and decision making and centralized source of truth winning out over individuality (plus the addition of radicalism). Nazis, communists, fascists, cults, Catholicism during its long dark ages, it's all the same - centrally controlled collectivism and collectivist truth winning over the dignity and free choices of the individual. Most evil flows from that.

Leftists are far closer to Nazis than even racist right wing individualists are. I don't think that's even debatable if you do a list of objective criteria then score it for each.

So I can see how Luci could argue that Mussolini was a socialist with some slight plausibility (although it's much easier to argue with the National Socialist German Worker's Party lol), but fascist is easily the correct term for Mussolini.

You can be rational in your arguments or worldview and be full of hate, or lacking morality. Plenty of psychopaths are more rational than both of us. The Iranian inner circle are religious nutjobs but fully rational and controlled in their strategy. They're different axes.

It's not about thinking communism is evil - I'd probably agree with you on that point. It's about seeing communism/leftism everywhere you look and see something you disagree with politically - this is where we diverge.

- Enforce the border laws on the books - pure conservative (actual Democrat before they went woke lol) position
- American exceptionalism - classic conservative
- America first - classic conservative
- Drill baby drill - classic conservative
- Family as a good thing - classic conservative
- Men and women definition, rejection of woke recent changes to society
- Capitalism and low regulation

This seems like classic conservative viewpoints to me.

"America First" is a slogan that was used by the KKK and American Nazis in the 1920s and 1930s, in case you weren't aware. Trump didn't invent it, he revived it.

Caring about your country and wanting it to do well vs other countries is a basic conservative principle. As is staying out of foreign wars (Woodrow Wilson used the term), although lol at that right now.

I was just informing you as to the origin of the slogan, in case you weren't aware. I wasn't using that as a basis for my opinion. Nevertheless, it is a fact that the Trump campaign has used Nazi iconography and Trump himself has used Nazi rhetoric in the past, and it would be rather charitable to ascribe this to a simple accident or oversight.
