In other news
In the current news climate we see that some figures and events tend to dominate the front-pages heavily. Still, there are important, interesting or just plain weird things happening out there and a group of people can find these better than one.
I thought I would test with a thread for linking general news articles about "other news" and discussion. Perhaps it goes into the abyss that is page 2 and beyond, but it is worth a try.
Some guidelines:
- Try to find the "clean link", so that links to the news site directly and not a social media site. Avoid "amp-links" (google).
- Write some cliff notes on what it is about, especially if it is a video.
- It's not an excuse to make outlandish claims via proxy or link extremist content.
- If it's an editorial or opinion piece, it is polite to mark it as such.
- Note the language if it is not in English.
- There is no demand that such things be posted here, if you think a piece merits its own thread, then make one.
but they aren't in every country and they weren't decades ago.
so something specific happened in the USA , recently, and it's the left capture of colleges.
and given it's a national security threat (as anything that increases the power of the left is) it has to be stopped by state power, right now.
but anyway, it's not about your silly leftist labels, not about misogyny or anything else. it's just the very normal claim that leftism is a domestic threat to society to deal with.
I love how you're basically just a maoist looking for a huge cultural purge without even bothering to have a prosocial argument to try to justify it. What an intellectual disaster you are.
In other news, democrat politicians are being hated by their own base/
A review of Quinnipiac University’s annual first-quarter congressional polling reveals that, for the first time in the poll’s history, congressional Democrats are now underwater with their own voters in approval ratings.
In other news, college educated white women are ON NOTICE
YOU ARE NEXT BITCHES
I know I've said this a few times before but everything about what Republicans currently stand for makes me so ****ing sick I legitimately can't stomach it*. You are all deplorable sacks of **** for supporting this. Oh, you don't support this? Yes you do. This is exactly what you voted for and exactly what people like me warned you about for months and months and months
Oh, you don't like coordi talking down to you
So, the Democrat Party is deeply unpopular, except With brainwashed College-Educated White Women.
Not sure why you are so angry at republicans about that.
I think he's angry at MSNBC but not positive
I'm angry that Republicans want to spin college education as brainwashing and that women are being targeted as the enemy.
You can pretend that isn't whats happening, just like we pretended immigrants were eating cats and dogs, that trans people are targeting girls, that the US is minutes to midnight, and whatever else Republicans pretend is a problem so they can radicalize their base against it.
Just read the comments
Hell, you can just read Luciom's take on the subject
Like, if you are a moderate and you think Lucio is a radical, this is literally what the Republican party is messaging and doing right now. This is how people on Twitter and Facebook are interpreting the messaging, this is what Project 2025 calls for. This is why Luciom has been manic with glee for most of Trumps presidency
it is abundantly clear that colleges have been Marxist -maling machines for years, is it even controversial?
college professors sleep to the left in ways that are unparalleled in the general population, by their own self admission.
and it is uncontroversial that young women fall for what they perceive to be societal authority more than young men who tend to be far more rebellious.
women play within the system, men often try to play from outside the system, that's normal and biologically motivated.
The poll is saying DEI programs are unpopular with everyone except college educated white women. The democrat party supports DEI programs.
Similarly Trump is popular with everyone except college educated white women.
That indicates that the democrat party is deeply unpopular with everyone except college educated white women.
That fact seems to have triggered you into going on an angry insulting rant against republicans. I have no idea why.
Damn Europeans - gtf out
this is standard practice around the globe for backpackers who think things like visa lengths do not matter, i know dozens of americans who've spent such short stints in various prisons around the world for the same thing
but for some reason it's only weird when we do it, right...

Wait, bold is true among whites only.
There is everyone else in society and several other groups don't love trump (from male Asians to black women)

This is what we (rationalists on the right) have been saying since day one of wokism because it was obvious and transparent in data.
Colleges are Marxist making machines in the USA, they train terrorists and enemies of the state.
Not sure what project 2025 has to do with this, this is was obvious since we'll before they wrote project 2025.
Leftism is a cancer of society, the biggest domestic threat the USA ever faced (yes far worse than confederates), that has its roots in colleges and it's main troops are white women educated there.
That has been the case since 10+ years ago.

It's not a spin is a measurable fact. And it's not "all college education", it is current college education because colleges are Marxist training camps.
It can change, all it takes is eradicating leftism from professors and administrators, which is what RDS with Rufo and others are attempting to do in Florida.
In 10-15 years of all-out war we can fix it.
I had this thought last night
"Holy ****, Ins0s wife is concerned about the state of our society and Ins0's response is '**** your feelings, that **** isn't real'"
More like my daughter is young and impressionable and surrounded by terminally online peers who believe the rhetoric that society is out to get them.
She's highly intelligent, confident, and also very empathetic. Like her mother, perhaps too much so. Her peers have started to chip away at that foundation of confidence with all the doom and gloom about how it's going to be impossible to find work in X field and Y billionaires are just going to send everyone to the cobalt mines anyway so why bother trying. There are no jobs that pay a livable wage, rent is too high, Nazis are out to get them, blah blah blah.
She has been a perfect 4.0 student her entire life and carried that into university life so far. She'll stand head and shoulders above all the other riffraff in the job market and I try to remind her that the many many millions of people out there living their best lives aren't spending their free time complaining to everyone who will listen.
If she somehow doesn't land on her feet immediately out of college, I'll make a few calls and fix it in about 20 minutes. There are a million opportunities out there for people who are even somewhat useful.
The fact that people have started to shake the confidence of even someone like my daughter, who has wanted for nothing and has every advantage in life short of simply not ever having to work or contribute to society means that the doom and gloom has gone way too far. One year in a public university was all it took for the seeds of doubt to take hold. It's insanity.
sorry man we didn't realize she was so privileged and not subject to the same real world everyone else is getting screwed by

Yes, this is precisely the problem.
You think in absolutes, despite clear and abundant evidence that the American dream is still very much alive for those who want to go get it.

it can be fixed. the leftist monsters who control that crucial stepstone of development for human beings can be fought like the domestic enemies they are, and we can win.
all it takes is being willing to use every power we have for that goal, within the limits of the constitution as usual.
and incredibly it looks like Trump is willing to do that. see what's going on with Columbia right now.
hopefully soon enough endowments will be next
Never said I was struggling. I was not educated in the US and when I was in school it was VASTLY easier than it is now, even in Canada, but especially here. I'm talking about what it's like for people now, not what it was like when I was trying to go to school and get a job.
It is horrific right now, and pretending it's not is not doing anyone any favors. I agree that his daughter shouldn't give up, though. I hope she does well, but it's MUCH harder for everyone right now than it used to be, and I just find it silly to pretend otherwise.
