In the current news climate we see that some figures and events tend to dominate the front-pages heavily. Still, there are important, interesting or just plain weird things happening out there and a group of people can find these better than one.
I thought I would test with a thread for linking general news articles about "other news" and discussion. Perhaps it goes into the abyss that is page 2 and beyond, but it is worth a try.
Some guidelines:
- Try to find the "clean link", so that links to the news site directly and not a social media site. Avoid "amp-links" (google).
- Write some cliff notes on what it is about, especially if it is a video.
- It's not an excuse to make outlandish claims via proxy or link extremist content.
- If it's an editorial or opinion piece, it is polite to mark it as such.
- Note the language if it is not in English.
- There is no demand that such things be posted here, if you think a piece merits its own thread, then make one.

They are just radicals. A true America first policy platform would include uses of force ti take what it wants with no regards to the lives of non Americans, it's an automatic corollary.

His idea of war is game-based. He sees a set of rules that force the parties to stack their respective forces up and duke it out until one side is wiped out.
Of course, that is not how you fight someone with superior numbers and easier logistics, and especially not today.
A basic recipe against an American occupation that aims to keep escalation to a minimum would probably look something like this:
1. Conspire with friendly diplomats / intelligence to surveil potential military action.
2. Make sure the Greenland cabinet has a direct line to you so they can request a troop presence, this to prevent the US to claim they are liberating Greenland.
3. Have an evacuation plan ready for the Greenland government. This isn't Ukraine, you aren't planning to hold a line, you're planning to hold the institutions intact.
4. Have diplomatic agreements in place that immediately trigger condemnation of the US occupation and refusal to recognize Greenland as US territory.
6. Invite media to Greenland to document the invasion.
7. Post troops that force the US to escalate to threats and gunpoint, this to prevent the US to claim the occupation was peaceful.
8. Use the diplomatic tools at your disposal to condemn the invasion and influence as many governments as possible to recognize the Greenland government as the legitimate government of Greenland.
9. Continue this until there is a US government that rejects Trumpism.

When judging the truth of a supposition, the fact that Elon Musk (or Donald Trump) claims its veracity tilts my Bayesian analysis towards the "false" determination.
Maybe I have a false sentiment about-> angry people usually lean more to far right the far left .
Regardless , the world seem to radicalize in both direction. .
Maybe this has something to do about it ?

Which means , those 3k billionaires owns more then all the countries individually in the world except China (at 18 trillions , should be exceeded soon amazing) and the U.S. at 30 trillions .
That’s incredibly , fwiw they gained line 2 trillions in the last year which is similar then the entire Canadian economy ….but those billionaires gain it in profits !!!!
