Hamas is losers. Their 40 year rule has been nothing but loserville, especially the last year+. Celebrating losing and failure is how the Palestinians stay down and never become a serious player.
Although it wounds the pride; in truth Palestinians and their supporters celebrating the last year+ as a win for Hamas and a loss for Israel is not a bad thing. Because the Palestinian people and their supporters wont course correct at all.
If one was really inclined to conspiracy theories; the real conspiracy is that Israel/Netanyahu planned for the Resistance and their allies to get completely curb stomped like this, while making sure they stay in power and are think they won something so they will stay in power and wont course correct. After all the losses of the last year, the Palestinians of Gaza (and more generally the Ummah around the world) are really cheering in the streets of a destroyed city just because a few hundred murderers are freed? its already been broken multiple times by Israel. they killed 20 people this morning. they are still flying drones. Bibi tried scuttle it many times. Israeli media is widely reporting that after the first round of prisoners are swapped then the war will restart which, if believed, shows their negotiations to be in complete bad faith.
i doubt the leadership would decide to do this given what happened to their predecessors

no Genocide Joe gave them every single thing they asked for and helped the Israelis to destroy around 90% of the buildings, destroy all the schools, collapse the entire health care sector, and murder 100s of thousands of people.
I dont know if its over or not, but I hope so. Netanyahu claims they will go back in for more mass slaughter after the first round. I do know that if Kamala won then there never would have been this cease fire and there would be no chance it ends anytime soon.
