Lol at them asking people to make a pledge like it's a treehouse club and they are 8 years old.
seems reasonable to ask people not cause trouble at your even esp given he scrutiny. the vanishingly few examples we have seen were so obv pro-Israeli agent provocateurs that its really not at all what mets et al are claiming.
I do find it funny coming from the people who feel they are justifying murdering thousands of civilians every couple years bc they dont "recognize Israel as a state" or whatever bend the knee bullshit they ask of them.
****ing pussies wearing masks "don't take my picture i don't want anyone knowing i hate jews"
Ridiculous

Sure I suppose it depends on what the pledge is.
I think someone posted a sign with the rules in this thread and people were making fun of it for saying no sex in the encampment. There was no "you must hate jews" clause.

And tbf to my position, anyone intending on making trouble won't have a problem doing it after they pledge not to.
anyway, Israel tortured a doctor to death

You are unhinged, 150k posts all culminating to these manic posts. Ofc they're wearing makes, they're taking part in civil disobedience. And they're morons but not stupid enough to know they're future could be destroyed by their hissy fits
Nearly half of the protesters arrested at the Columbia University and City College campuses during violent anti-Israel unrest weren’t students, police sources said Thursday — a day after Mayor Eric Adams warned that “outside agitators” were radicalizing youngsters.Of the 282 protesters cuffed and hauled away during a massive NYPD operation late Tuesday, 134 of them had zero aff
I'm surprised it was even 50-50. I expected even less Columbia students.
Mets, you need to take a breath and try to ground yourself a little. You’re lashing out at people who don’t even mean you any harm.
If they aren't students they are trespassing
You want strangers at your kids school wearing masks?
I thought it's a university, not a school.
Is there any unknown thing you're not instinctively terrified of?

Universities are schools?
I'm not afraid of anything
Thats why i don't wear a mask when i go to a rally. I'm not a wuss i stand up for what i believe in without stopping traffic or taking over a building

I had an Israel sign in front of my house and had a yellow ribbon on my car door handle for the hostages
My back windshield got smashed
I still have the sign up and the ribbon on
What makes you think I'm terrified? Because i dont think outsiders should be sleeping in tents on a university lawn? Wtf
I think Mets makes a fair point re masks-- if you think some cause is good enough to protest over you should also be willing to suffer whatever consequences are involved in showing your face.
that doesnt seem smart or effective
it's increaseaingly desperate rhetoric because the campaign by israel has been so catastrophic to support for israel. It's deeply ironic to see anyone saying the protest have damage palastinian support - not at all convinced that is remotely true but if it is, it is miniscule compared to what netanyhau has done to israel.
As for consequences. The protesters face arrest. That's a very real consesquence. Far less likely but still possible is that netanyahu & co will have to face theirs.
say the line Bart

The people you're calling kids whose parents should be panicking at the thought of them mixing with people in masks are young adults and are entitled to make their own decisions in life (apart from drinking, because the US is stupidly restrictive in that regard).

Only when they live with their own money in full. If their lifestyle is subsidized by anyone they lose any autonomy right.
As long as someone is contributing to their lifestyle, that someone has full rights to tell them anything he wants about how they should behave.
And if that someone is the taxpayer...

Just make it illegal to cover your face in public, very basic security law.
But the left normalized masking and now criminals have more tools, as usual
