These are our baselines. We're not reinventing the wheel here. If you aren't sure if something is acceptable to post, its better to ask first. If you think someone is posting something that violates the above guidelines, please report it or PM me rather than responding in kind.
To reiterate some of the points:

2. Racist posts and other bigoted statements that target a particular group or individuals of such groups with derogatory comments are not allowed. This should not need further explanation.
3. Graphic Images need to be in spoilers with a trigger warning.
4. Wishing Harm on other posters will result in an immediate timeout.
5. Genocidal statements such as "Kill 'em all" etc, are no longer permissible in the thread.
If anyone has any questions about the above, please PM me. I don't want a discussion about the rules to derail the content of this thread. If anything needs clarifying, I will do that in this thread.

At this point anyone talking about "40 beheaded babies" is doing it in bad faith, normally to excuse some horrific act caused by Islamists. In the fog of war two different reports got distorted, merged and social media ran wild with it for a couple days. And President Biden, who has age related cognitive issues, kept referring to "beheaded babies" for a few days after everyone

If Israel assassinating 2 PIJ members in the West Bank is grounds for Hamas shooting over 1000 rockets at Israel from Gaza, then we have to accept that Hamas will be able to find any excuse they want at any time to break the ceasefire.

Another day without any unchecked aggression from Hamas. Really got to hand it to the IDF, they’ve been highly effective in subduing Hamas and preventing them from killing any more Israelis or Palestinians. It’s scary to think what this conflict would look like if it involved another military besides the IDF.

Upfront about what? They break ceasefires on a whim and their willingness to honor a ceasefire at all is dubious. I don’t think anyone believes a lasting, long-term ceasefire with Hamas is possible.
Hamas never sets forth realistic terms given their position, which is at least very close to acting in bad faith.
Israel's position is literally give us the hostages back, stop fighting us, and let us attack you whenever we please.

i said a while ago that israel should agree to whatever terms get the most hostages back and then immediately break those terms/go back to the business of liquidating hamas. its ridiculous that they haven't done this.
