These are our baselines. We're not reinventing the wheel here. If you aren't sure if something is acceptable to post, its better to ask first. If you think someone is posting something that violates the above guidelines, please report it or PM me rather than responding in kind.
To reiterate some of the points:
1. No personal attacks. This is a broad instruction, but, in general, we want to focus on attacking an argument rather than the poster making it. The same goes for calling people "baby killers" and "genocide lovers". You are allowed to argue that an action supports genocide or that the consequences of certain policies results in the death of children, but we are no longer going to be speaking to one another's intentions. It is not productive to the conversation and doesn't further any debate.
2. Racist posts and other bigoted statements that target a particular group or individuals of such groups with derogatory comments are not allowed. This should not need further explanation.
3. Graphic Images need to be in spoilers with a trigger warning.
4. Wishing Harm on other posters will result in an immediate timeout.
5. Genocidal statements such as "Kill 'em all" etc, are no longer permissible in the thread.
If anyone has any questions about the above, please PM me. I don't want a discussion about the rules to derail the content of this thread. If anything needs clarifying, I will do that in this thread.

Some documents from ongoing ceasefire talks have leaked, and it looks like at this point the Hamas leadership already has one foot out the door, and are mainly focused on assurances they can live lives of luxury in exile in Turkey without Israel or anyone else going after them.
I should note it appears this is all going on without Sinwar being involved at all; as he appears to be hiding 15 stories underground under Khan Younis and has cut off all communication with the outside world, which if your goal is just your own survival probably isn't a bad idea as it definitely appears Hamas communications have been compromised.

And even if it is real, who knows how accurate the "translation" we are given is. Is definitely a problem that Arab media doesn't even pretend to be objective, so we often have to rely on Israeli sources to discern the truth of what is going on, and most of them obviously have their own biases.

Al Hindi doesn’t even respond to the questions because he’s so focused on spouting run-of-the-mill Islamofascist rhetoric.
Interviewer asks him what he understands about the direct objectives of Oct 7th. He responds by talking about Israeli lies, 1948, martyrs, and other largely irrelevant points. He’s clearly melted his brain with propaganda and no longer lives in the same reality as the rest of us.
His inability to directly address the questions and constant deflections are pretty reliable signs that someone is completely inundated by propaganda. Answering the questions truthfully would be detrimental to their carefully crafted but warped perceptions of reality.

LOL. Islamic Jihad. With friends like these losers, who needs enemies. As I have mentioned before, if one wanted to make sure the Palestinian situation stayed as hopeless as possible it would be to make sure these guys and Hamas stay around; but keep control of the heavy weapons going in so they can only terrorize Gaza, and not Israel.
Northern Israel is building a lot of shelters in the North of the country and moving a lot of heavy armor in. Looks like a military attempt to stop the Hezbollah attacks is imminent.
Hezbollah fired 80 rockets at Israel last night, and the same day Iran threatened Israel if they dare respond. I guess Iran feels like the status quo should be Hezbollah should be able to attack Israel with impunity, and Israel should just take it.
It is pretty insane a country can just keep getting rockets fired at it and be like, we're busy right now, we'll get to you later.
