I spent no time at all there, did not have to go very far back either. There are SO many of these. You really wanted to try to bluff past this? Imagine if I put in some actual time in there? Victor the receipts are all there.

You called us baby murder supporters on the daily. Why bother denying that?

obv there is an understood Israel in those statements doing the killing.

language can be ambiguous. context matters. bad faith actors often use this as weapon.

in general, I give people the benefit of the doubt and try to communicate in good faith. Im not perfect but there is a major difference in how I address some on this forum and thats bc I tend to treat others as they treat me.

Your capacity for lacking self awareness would make Donald Trump jealous.

Rafiki, I can understand your frustration, and I’ve attempted to provide a bit of clarity on this issue. I agree and acknowledge that the “baby killer” issue happened and was a major issue of contention.

I notice all your instances are from before I took over the thread. I cannot go back in time and correct them or moderate them. I *have* undertaken a major effort to get certain issues to stop, and I think even Victor would agree he knows he can’t do that any longer. Do you believe they have stopped? Are there instances you can find after 5/12 when I took over that occurred or went unmoderated?

Victor served a month off and has been on good behavior since coming back.

I guess what I’m asking is what do you want me to do about the past? I am only in charge of the present.

I am self aware enough to know that if I ridiculed someone else's self awareness then I would face a lengthy ban. 😀

I'm sure rafiki will answer for himself, but I'll just say that when I read his post I didn't assume he was looking for you to do anything, but was just disputing Victor's statement.

Doesn't seem very passive to me.

General observation - I feel people often say "passive aggressive" when they mean just "aggressive".

Rafiki has expressed a lot of frustration to me individually and has at least implied he shares the view that I have “chased away the Jews”, which was personally very upsetting to me.

So far, the only responses I have received have been about the behavior of other posters that I have already put an end to and have moderated heavily since. Which is why I asked for examples from after I took over the thread.

If the answer is Xnerd, there’s nothing you can do, we just want to constantly complain about the past being unpunished, then fine. But that’s not what I’ve been hearing in their feedback.

Just think, Luciom will be back from his summer holiday soon so expect dozens of posts about how he doesnt understand the mod rules. Maybe save your energy for that inevitability?

I'm sure he has used his time off to reflect and brush up on his moderation avoidance/evasion skills.
