You are a hopeless cumguzzler of nonsense

 😆

A consortium of investors led by Elon Musk offered $97.4bn to take over OpenAI, the maker of ChatGPT.

response: 'no thank you but we will buy twitter for $9.74 billion if you want.'

lolllll

OpenAI is the company that murdered a whistleblower btw

Seems like he's messing with Altman's ability to move from non-profit to for profit as needs board approval + payout. Offering to buy it at that price should increase amount needs to pay board members.

Beyond my pay grade but there's been a few articles and posts about it. This was most recent post on a quick search

Finally figured out the more outrageous his statements the more his moron followers believe. I'm amazed each and every day. My good friend who has been a Musk follower since the early days of Tesla is having some severe internal conflicts. How can a guy who has been so good for technological advancement, especially with green technology, be such a terrible human being.

Answer - he hasn't really been so good for technological advancement. He has been good at getting rich off the advances made by actual scientists and engineers.

How do you do, fellow Texans? (Mouth breathing intensifies)

Surprised it was as much as 97.4 billion. Expected Musk to offer 88 billion.

I mean, Tesla made the electric car cool as car, not just a concept. Not in the eyes of everyone, but in the eyes of enough people that the numbers of buyers started to matter. This then in turn started the competitive ball rolling, gave us an technological advancement race in the EV-industry and we saw large manufacturers starting their own production lines.

You can't do that solely with scientists and engineers, you need visions from the top or at least the business sense to let such visions come through.

Now, I don't know if something happened to Musk or if we just came to know what was underneath the facade to reveal the political moron we know today, but there is still no need to take away people's past accomplishments in order to criticize what they have become.

And no, I don't think doing so makes criticism of Musk less relevant or takes away from it. That represents a naive view of the world and people, where we would be forced to assume that people who do well are necessarily decent and just.

You also need uncanny charisma to convince investors to put up monstrous quantities of cash before the idea is proven to work. And that is exceptionally more rare, and so valuable, than being a good engineer (which is already valuable, but orders of magnitude less than the ability to convince people with money to risk it).

Oh and you ALSO need to convince the best scientists and engineers, which are in high demand, to work with you and not with all other projects available to them: again an exceptionally rare skill

Right - he's like Jobs was. I do know some Musk cucks that actually think he's smarter than anyone in his companies. By smarter, I mean they think he can do their jobs better than they can and just has them do it because he's got better things to do.

Especially when it's a snow job. This is why Elon is an elite conman.

Tesla makes really great cars

SpaceX makes really great rockets

I trust my Tesla more than any SpaceX rocket (so long as I don't use FSD mode).

Looks like it's $125 per month. Either way, I'll stick with my iPhone and let you guinea pigs test that phone.

Hilarious to see all the Musk haters from years ago now being Musk cucks, though.

As others have pointed out, I didn't say he was responsible for the technology just for its advancement. He has been very good at getting the right people to do the right work.

If you announce to the world there are monsters under the bed, you can't then go under that bed and find no monsters. It should be evident that the conflicts of interest for Musk are taking over
