President Elon Musk
He probably deserves his own thread at this point, discuss accordingly
Say bye bye to them all. This was the goal all along.
Yep, actions show who someone really is, words are just flim-flam.
If you announce to the world there are monsters under the bed, you can't then go under that bed and find no monsters. It should be evident that the conflicts of interest for Musk are taking over
Oh, damn... like a good 45% of Trumpers are on SSI and are going to be regretting snacking on Musk's boots.
I'll be the first to admit I have zero trust in him or trump. I don't find musk to be a serial liar like trump is but we're in some uncharted territory here. He has the keys to the kingdom without anyone else knowing what he's doing. I'm pretty sure that's not a good thing ever.
If he's really rooting out fraud he would be fine with someone looking over his shoulder. But he isn't. That leads me to believe he'll be doing something else.
I mean, Tesla made the electric car cool as car, not just a concept. Not in the eyes of everyone, but in the eyes of enough people that the numbers of buyers started to matter. This then in turn started the competitive ball rolling, gave us an technological advancement race in the EV-industry and we saw large manufacturers starting their own production lines.
Massive government subsidies and 0% interest rates helps a lot too .

He has the money; now he wants the power. People who think he's doing some philanthropic work in the name of patriotism are ******s.
It'd be one thing if he hired forensic accountants, but it's pretty obvious why he chose the people he chose for his project.
certainly does. curious why no one else was able to achieve as much success as him. guess he's just best con man.
I realize this is sarcasm, but he really is the best conman.

Uber ?
Many companies were able to survive a very long times before finally getting profitable enough ( by destroying old business model) because of a non existing Interest rates or subsidies .
Elon did great no one questioned this imo .
But he was not alone , he had help ….
The right man at the right place at the right time .
Like love , sometime you just need luck on the timing for success .
Consider that the 8 million dollar Politico scandal was actually 44,000 USD spent on subscriptions to their PoliticoPro package.
That leaves three likely conclusions:
A.) Elon Musk and his team are idiots.
B.) Elon Musk and his team are liars.
C.) Both of the above.
Oh oh oh oh oh I know this!
Spoiler
C, definitely C

You can't do that solely with scientists and engineers, you need visions from the top or at least the business sense to let such visions co
He wasn't even a founder of Tesla.
why does it matter? execution is the only thing that matters.
thousands of people come up with the ideas, they are trash until someone make it possible to enact them in reality
you foudnd a company it goes to trash, you are nothing, and irrelevant speck of dust. someone picks up from your worthless ashes and builds something, that's the relevant human being. the rest is in the very big trash bin of history, the completely irrelevant people who thought they mattered

You're assuming that someone else couldn't have done the same with the company.
He's obviously not a complete incompetent, but mostly he's someone who started out rich, broke rules he didn't care to follow, and then got extraordinarily lucky, much like Trump.
Elon addressing the nation from next to the presidents desk is unreal to me

jfc we're going to need republicans in congress to wake tf up at some point. Just a few.

Did he say anything you don't agree with? Or are you so hell bent on hating both of them that you refuse to even understand what his message is?

His message is that woke leftists have stolen democracy which is an incredible statement to stumble through while using his child as a prop while providing nothing of substance behind the message

POTUS can delegate the "prime spot" as much as he wants (or not).
that's entirely within his powers.
why do you hate the idea of having a POTUS that, for the time being, decided to (fully legally) delegate some of his powers to another person (who happens to be the most successful businessman in the history of the world)?
