You just want the explanation to be your pet issue. Biden beat Trump in 2020 when all these things were true. A much more obvious explanation for why the Democrats lost this time is because their candidate went senile and they had a last-minute replacement who was already shown to be unpopular nationally in the 2020 primaries.

And Reagan is still popular with all of the same Trump supporters despite having done a huge amnesty. Most people just want to hear what they want to hear and they don't go beyond that.

NHTSA is a bottom-of-barrel organization. Or at the very least they are tragically flawed.
I attended a mock trial focus group years ago. Details are sensitive and I can share more in private, but the gist is a human died an extremely unpleasant death on a freeway near me, caused by an american made car that was built like a bomb was attached to it -- but it met all of NHTSA's guidelines, which was what we had to debate at the group. Slightly more than half of the group thought the car manufacturer was not at fault becaues it met the minimum guidelines, which was true but, and despite going through all sorts of mental **** at the time, I spoke in front of the group letting everyone know it was not just the car manufacturers fault 100%, but at least one person in their organization HAD to know that what happened was probabilistic based on very basic geometry.

I don't remember that. I do remember Hilary Clinton heading a committee to try to get universal health care, or at least that's what people thought they were trying to do.
No one touched social security, but Obama went on to make it illegal to not have private health insurance. Universal **private** health[strike]care[/strike] insurance is surely what Hillary was working on.
