Respecting this constitution, sure. Respecting constitutionalism generally is a totally different thing.
It's important to remember that complaints about "violating the constitution" are not sourced in idolization or reverence of the document itself. They are calls to the principle of formalized limitation of governmental power.

There's few facts in here, but even then he gets a key one wrong:
The U.S. is also unique in that it is among the only countries that doesn’t need to import anything. Don’t get me wrong, we want to import iPhones and PlayStations and French wine and German cars. But we don’t need oil or food or water or most the other raw materials to make sure people stay alive.
Without Canadian electricity, big chunks of the northeast are using candles for light. You need Canadian oil because you don't import enough. You need Canadian steel for all those big, beautiful factories you want kids to work in.
Anyway, this is all wishcasting. People are trying to make it look reasonable because the alternative - they put the dumbest mother****ers alive in power, and they're going to shred everything over ego and fear of dying - is unacceptable to them. It undercuts a core belief - that rich people are rich because they're smarter and better than everyone else.
