Ok, I'm not American so I don't know these things. I still don't see how it's a better clue than Thanksgiving tho. Apple mint is an actual thing, and it's a food so not sure why that wouldn't hit server as well. They also grows on trees like nuts do, so seems like a lot more ways you could go with it.

Brass perhaps scratch, was thinking bells of brass instruments which are all round
Basically all nuts are round before you crack the shell open. I can't imagine not guessing that here.
No way I could ever be talked into guessing trunk or mint or brass. Pool and bath also seem a big step down.
