Orange could be a crochet word. Plus we might get a capitalization on this clue if it were ours.

Bottle/Match/Spike isn't a great combo to have left, and chemical might be the best way to connect those.

BTW, not a believer in Spike being theirs at all.

orange - some chemicals are orange; Agent Orange was a chemical used in warfare
