I'm thinking of a movie.
Go!
Primarily played QB?
15. He did not primarily play QB.
Isn't bolt from Florida? Why am I thinking a Dolphins fan??? Ring a bell EB?
Did he win a Heisman Trophy?
Excuse the pun but this seems like a Hail Mary, although I guess a "yes" response would really narrow it down. I won't count this as an official guess.
I really thought this round would be easy for the guessers but I'm not loving your chances this late in the game.

Yeah... maybe we are going to miss this. Still, we were pretty efficient in getting to an NFL WR or RB. Would be hard to get there any sooner. I think I had the same issue in my last one with Wyoming.
I wonder if our best bet is to go on age?
Maybe born before 1950.... thoughts from other guessers?
if he thought it would be easy it's probably a famous RB. not too many famous WR that age
Jim brown
payton
OJ
that's why I'm the goat at this game
Either that or year of death. But if you go with birth year, should make it a bit earlier imo. You don't wanna be left with 50 years to work with if it's before.
True, but with so few question left perhaps we need to take a chance of hitting a small window, as even if we hit that window our chances are slim.
walter won a super bowl and juice a heisman
and jim brown was known for sports, entertainment, and politics
Yeah, but he was primarily known for football. Gale Sayers is another one that comes to mind. Maybe we should narrow it down by teams. Something like: "Did this person play for a team that's currently in the NFC or AFC North?" Or we could try to figure out when they played. What decade their rookie season was in, for example.

I think there is still enough q's to be able to use a couple to narrow down year. Maybe 1940+ then? If yes, then one more question to break it down to 10 years and it's easily searchable. Of course, I have no idea how many valid answers there would be, but it's better than trying to find a needle in a haystack if you're left with 50 years to sift through.
Here's a good site you can use to search:

Yeah, I get 1940+ but then it just occurred to me that everyone born before 1940 is at least 85, and we already know the person is dead...... so there is a pretty good chance we are going to get a 1940+ answer just based on life expectancy. So, a Q with 1950+ may not be so bad considering that.

Not sure I follow. Why would knowing that the person is dead make it less likely they were born before 1940?

Sorry D1iab. I am confused myself. I think I meant that if we ask the question "Was he he born after 1940?"and we get a no, then we really did not learn much because we already know the person is dead. And, if we get a yes, then we have a 21 year period to think about.
But heck, let's just use 1945
Q Was he born after 1945?
I may be even more confused now than I was before heh.
Alright. I'm just going to ask. Was his NFL/AFL rookie season in either the 60s or 70s?
That's cool. I missed that there was an actual question... Born after 1945?
