Did he primary play RB?
17. He primarily played RB
I'm wondering if we should ask if he's in the Pro Football HOF or just assume that he is.
If he is, there really aren't that many RBs that qualify.
I still think Jim Brown is on the table here btw.

Not sure.
If not that maybe get a list of 4 or 6 players (including Jim Brown) and then try the process of elim approach. I don't think it will fully work with 6 unless we hit a yes??
For sure
Jim Brown
Gale Sayers
I looked at a top 25 list of RBs
Marion Motley
Joe Perry (but was a FB)
Gale Sayers
Jim Brown (he did win a championship 2 years prior to the SuperBowl). But the question specifically said Superbowl, so he would be ok.
Ollie Matson (but was in the Olympics, so he is out)
this is xpost EB
if it was supposed to be easy it's not gonna be Joe Perry or marion motley(whoever the hell they are lol)
Ok
Let's go with Grange, Gifford, Sayers and Brown
Q18 Is it one of Jim Brown or Gale Sayers ?
If yes then Q19 is it Jim Brown?
If no to Q19 then Q20 is it Gale Sayers (obv)?
---------------------------------------
If no to Q18 , then Q19 is it Red Grange?
If no to Q19, then Q20 is it Frank Gifford?
another strat could be narrowing by number
gayle sayers: 40
brian piccolo: 41
jim brown: 32
(too late, but i think the answer may be piccolo)

18. Not Jim Brown or Gale Sayers.
19. Not Red Grange.
20. Not Frank Gifford.

I thought this would be easier for 2 reasons.
1. At least a small handful of POGgers know Piccolo from Brian's song. No research needed.
2. I thought someone would ask "is he in the HOF?", which narrows the possibilities way down unless I'm a psychopath who likes to play 20 questions with someone who's best known for being "pretty good" at his job.

Piccolo is a good pick. It was good 20Q imo. I think we all know who he is. Good one bolt.
If I had to do it over again I (personally) would still not spend a pick on HOF though. Would have assumed that a person in the era that we ended up in would have been a HOFer or he would not be worth considering. That's why we had 4 HOFers from that era. Basically following your logic in bold.....
By the time we got to RB/NFL and era we were pretty limited to what we would do, and we did get there pretty efficiently I think (as far as number of questions asked). Asking HOF only helps if no, and I guess I didn't think it would be no.
narrowing by number (40s, 30s, 20s, etc) may have been a valid strat under certain circumstances.
I'm thinking of a person. Go.
aiui this game is essentially
what category will most efficiently parse the available options to facilitate further parsing
is that it
have you played infinite questions
I am thinking of the way it smells after it rains in Morocco
I am thinking of a seven of pentacles in the Tarot de Marseille
I am thinking of a qubit in a state of topological superconductivity
1. Female?
2. Living?
Was he born on Jan 1, 1900 or later?
Seems as if 1940+ would've been quite helpful! [emoji14]
Not an official question, but I'm pretty sure it's Gale Sayers.
