Basketball is goofy
I don’t know how I should feel about the Hunter trade.
He was maddeningly frustrating to watch… showing great flashes or being injured.
When we traded Huerter I thought that was a sign that the front office was making a choice between him and Hunter. Now he’s gone too, and Huerter’s already been traded again.
Of course I’m also the guy that said I’d rather keep Murray over Trae… that call’s not looking too great right now so what do I know.
Love it for the Cavs, though. They get a versatile 3 and D wing entering the prime of his career… those guys are at quite a premium in the current NBA.
the NBA is kind of shady with their stats. On LeBron's last 3 point Reaves passed him the ball, LeBron didn't even dribble -- rose up and made the shot. No assist was awarded.
Didn't matter for me, because I needed Reaves o5.5 assists.. but there needs to be accuracy and accountability when literally millions of dollars is wagered every night.
Also does Boston even give a flying **** about the regular season at all?
Steph with 37 pts on 35!!! shots tonight... is he even good anymore?
13/35 fg 6/20 from 3.
West down the stretch and play-in is gonna be wild
SA/GS/LAC/Minn/Dal/Sac fighting for 3 spots
think Minn is clearly the best of that bunch but none of them would be scaring much as a top 2-3 seed, although I guess anyone is live vs Houston/Memph
Seems like the Nuggs are being slept on a little, no one really talks about them anymore. They're +650 to win the West? I mean 12 months ago people thought they might be in the midst of a mini-dynasty.
The ASG should have a world team and two USA teams divided by age
World
Jokic
Gilgeous-Alexander
Antetokounmpo
Wembanyama
Siakam
Towns
Sengun
Herro
USA Vets
James
Curry
Durant
Davis
Harden
Mitchell
Lillard
Brunson
USA Young bucks
Tatum
Edwards
Brown
Williams
Jackson
Garland
Mobley
Cunningham
Wtf The rosters played out really close to this. Team Chuck has all the World players

They are second favs, in fairness!!

No stat correction was made. Reaves still has 4 assists.
Egregious **** right here.
Warriors with a desperate move that might work out and make us half relevant 10% of the time. But that's still greater than our current 0%.

Yeah had to try something around Curry. I think it's unlikely to be the right move but hard to know what else they could have done, particularly if KD wasn't interested in returning.
Sixers need to trade Embiid in the offseason. Just pull the ripcord.
Embiid/PG13/Maxey all in action tonight and they got wrecked by the Pistons who were without Cade.
ESPN: We're going to broadcast Pacers/Lakers Saturday so we can see LeBron and Luka
Lakers: LeBron (Out-Old), Luka (Out-Fat)
You’re underestimating the dumbness of your regular NBA GM.
Hornets have a lot of draft capital and would likely gamble on Embiid if given the chance, for example.
Never underestimating that again after the Luka trade, but fair point.
In the modern NBA the player needs to want to go there though, I think.
But look - Embiid is over imo, Philly should be thinking about what comes next.

Move embiid
PG13 if they can, prolly unmoveable contract at this point tho
And just build around maxey
Lakers looking scary right now.
Not-fat AD goes down
Nico still somehow employed
They gonna have to put Nico in the witness protection program. Too bad Doge eliminated it.
