Also it’s interesting that when a player isn’t rated his fee is quoted including the add ons. 40 to 45M for a player who will improve Saka by giving him valuable rest time and will add much needed pace to the attack while not being shot shy is pretty much the right profile.
I don’t know if he’s going to be a success or not but fans losing their shite over a backup signing when you can’t get a CL quality starting winger for that amount is just stupid.
The fan reaction might be quite different if we’d got him from Real or Barca.

I doubt we’re after Eze and Rodrygo even if Trossard goes.
Gyokeres is as good as done.
If we get Eze and offload Nelson, Vieira and Lokonga I’d give it a solid 8/10 but not more mainly because of doubts over CF and RW and lack of depth at LW and LB.
What happened to Reiss Nelson last season? Injured? His career never seems to have got going.
Nelson was injured last season for some time but I think solid when he played. Last I heard is that he’s accepted his future is elsewhere but wants to stay in London.
Amorim sold 17 players in his second season at Sporting so you know that’s the plan.
Obviously it’s hard to shift crap players on 200k/week but I’d expect them to have at least gotten rid of Garnacho by now.
I like madueke, seems like taking advantage of a market opportunity. His underlyings are VERY good. Some questions about attitude but who the **** knows with how dysfunctional Chelsea's locker room is if that will be a problem once he's in a better environment.
If we keep trossard and don't buy any more attackers, madueke will feel somewhat underwhelming, but in a vacuum I think it's a pretty sharp signing.
