February 18 – The first day clubs can designate franchise or transition players.
February 24-March 3 –
I'm not sure who is responsible for the mediocrity right now, but the Saints needed to blow it up after Brees retired, and they just refuse to do that. So we have no idea if that is Benson, Loomis, or both of their decisions.
I don't know either. I thought Loomis should have been out the door this offseason. He made his bet that he could continue the Payton/Brees era without either of them, and he lost.
So I'm sure he's convinced he's still close to building a winner, but I have no idea why Gayle thinks so or even how much scrutiny she places on him. I'd rather have just even kicked him upstairs if you love him so much, take him away from any real decision-making. Khai Hartley and Jeff Ireland are pretty good at their jobs-- I dunno if a "shared GM" role would work, but they're both assistants now. Put Hartley in charge of caps and contracts and Ireland in charge of player personnel.
Seriously nobody has mentioned Danny dimes signed on to potentially unseat AR-15 Wild times guys
I started typing something critical but i changed my mind. I actually think it might be ok. I didn’t like the price but I’m guessing other teams might have been in on him as well - I think he’s probably the best bridge guy with upside out there.
Joey Bosa to the bills for a year
Niners truly not bothering to care anymore
It appears like the Eagles are going with ironman football this year. I guess that's one way to keep the cap number down.
I like Fields to Jets, o-line is one of the worst, so a guy who can move around and make a play is a huge bonus. He is gonna take a beating tho. He doesnt throw downfield dosent matter, he wont have time. But he has great running backs, I think its an improved offesne, will need long drives, 3rd and managable.
welcome to the 29ers Mac Jones!
Spoiler
actually a nice deal for SF

How many wins do you prognosticate?
And
What is their ceiling?
Finally the 49ers get the QB everyone thought they wanted in 2021 all along
(I actually made a decent chunk of change when that rumor pushed Mac Jones' O/U to 3.5)
Evan Engram is gonna have a big season with the Broncos. I wouldn't doubt if he ends up the leading receiver.

No one cares about the Colts, least of all Colts' fans.
Also, the lowest passer rating in the NFL over the past two seasons:
Daniel Jones
AR5
I guess you can kinda make some fringe cases for Jones since the Giants OLine was trash and he's near the top in dropped balls, etc. but AR5 is just garbage, so there's not a lot of silver linings here.
I enjoy the incompetency of Ballard and have no earthly idea how he still has a job.
They are trash. D fell apart, everyone wants out, its gonna be grim. Like always they need a rebuild. Couple years ago that D was promisng, a few drafted play makers on offense and it felt like playoffs. Its all washed up now. I dunno how many wins but no way playoffs
Just remembered Parcells. Took the same old Jets, like a 1 win team and turned them into a playoff team next season. That guy was something else.

Don't the let the failures of the Rodgers experiment get you down. This team is already way better than last season. 7 wins is the floor, and this is coming from the biggest Jets hater on this forum. So I hope they don't win much more than that.

They’ve got 3 players who are going to want to get paid at the top of the market this offseason too
