2025 NFL Off Season Thread
Key Dates

February 18 β The first day clubs can designate franchise or transition players.
February 24-March 3 β
If you compare Nix and Maye’s years to Darnold or Kyler’s they weren’t better. It’s baking in potential to rank them ahead and that’s not what the survey is doing.
I’m super high on Maye. I just don’t think he can be ranked too high after 10 starts
The flip side is Darnold has had 1 good year out of 7 seasons after being drafted 3rd overall. Kyler has a career record of 36-45-1 and has 1 embarrassing playoff loss on his resume. Neither of them are more than average NFL starters. I know it was a no look preseason pass, but that int he threw the other day is the epitome of his limitations and inability to hit his ceiling. Maye/Nix showed a lot as rookies, and I would take both in a game today over Darnold, Kyler, Rodgers, Tua, Geno, Trevor, etc.
Other than the Stafford/Stroud ranks, I think the top 14 on that list is mostly pretty pure. I'd rearrange 15 and below quite a bit. And I get that's kind of the point of tiers, but I'm simply not rating guys with less experience worse if I think they're better.
Stafford has had a Top 5 QBR only once in his career.
That's once in 16 seasons, and it was 4 years ago.
Hopefully that's a big enough of a sample size.
Newsflash: when an employee gets fired by an organisation, his complaint into wrongful dismissal should not be heard/decided upon by the guy that fired him
Felt like doing a little comparison between Stafflah and Tuah in clutch passing situations.

How Jerry Jones' bungled contract negotiations cost the Cowboys $100 million
BAL > PHI is pretty funny.
Also looking to get some more MIA bets in if anyone is interested.
They've got them ranked 24th. Ahead of them are
16. LAC
17. ARI
18. DAL
19. PIT
20. SEA
21. NE
22. JAX
23. LV
I'll take MIA regular season win total over any of those teams. $20 - $50. 1 bet per user.
If this is still open I'll take Arizona for $50
Newsflash: when an employee gets fired by an organisation, his complaint into wrongful dismissal should not be heard/decided upon by the guy that fired him
I mean this is basically how discipline works for the NFL teams with Goodell so maybe they just thought thatβs how everyone does it.

Agreed, Bork is way too low.
Apparently Shady Durr fans are upset that he's still listed at #4 on the official Browns depth chart.
Perhaps he's at least earned an honorary spot on that chart above at #35?
Got the trial for the new Madden and like always I've simmed the entire season.
