Funny, you'd think he'd have found a starting job by now instead of being on his 3rd team in five years.
I mean, imagine if the Broncos said Stidham was the starter and said "we don't need to draft Nix" and went with Bowers or Brian Thomas instead.
They'd be SB favorites right now.
SRM you know I ♥ you.
Spoiler
I even think you'd be a better QB than Stidham.
PSA: JOE and Ja'Marr on MNF
I could entertain the idea that Stidham could be better than Mac Jones.
rip shedeur. rip browns
Flacco won't last long.
If he loses his job itβll only be to see what the others have got when the Browns are close to being out of playoff contention
Utter shambles over there and if any of the others were any good theyβd be getting more reps
Stidham 100% starts if he’s a brown
it gives me the feels that Deshaun has an $80m cap hit next year and a $50m dead cap hit in 2027
https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/player/_/id/...
So even if they take all of that cap hit next year and don't change the salary to bonus to stretch the cap hit, their cap is still gonna be terrible in 2027
Extending Garrett instead of trading him might be the dumbest thing they've done, outside of the DeShaun trade and contract.
The only logical plan was to tank this year and next, get the #1 pick for themselves plus a few extra high picks from a Garrett trade and start rebuilding with good cheap players again to hopefully be good in 2028
But let's see if they push the can down the road again next year and put themselves into cap hell for the rest of the decade
Bengals D might set the record for most points allowed.

I said Stidham may be the best back up QB. You seem to be going on about him being a starter. I do believe he could start for several teams. I didn't say he is a guy teams are pursuing to be their long term starter.
Denver should be in the mix to win it all. Having a great back up helps.
adding Tinsley to this WR corps is criminal
edit: CIN needs to trade some of their WR depth for OL talent
and um DL
Note to self: Blindly take the Cincinnati team total over until the books adjust.
That was some impressive stuff by Tinsley
mate, I haven't watched 1 second of pre season and I genuinely hope the Bengals are good this year because they're fun to watch, but my guess is that blindly taking the over on a team off the back of a pre season game may not be the sagest investment strategy?

Seems like a wagering strategy the legend of Nima might come up with.

So Joe Camel gets to throw to Chase, Higgins and Tinsley and their defense sucks. They have to win by out scoring the other team. Maybe I'll take every game over as well. It's my money mate but thanks for your input.
The Bengals were 11-6 to the over last year. So maybe the books will be one step ahead of me as per usual. So I've decided to take your advice and blindly bet the unders.
If I had to be serious for a moment and guess, I'd say that Vegas will be expecting some rust for teams in the first 2-3 weeks of the season. So you should pound the over for the start of the season.
I'm sure the five year college player who went undrafted and did nothing for two years is going to be the next superstar WR after catching two TDs vs backups. Fulgham all over again, but at least he was drafted and when he popped off it was in a regular season game
Colts named Jones the Week 1 starter.
Which means we'll get to find out right away if the Miami secondary really is that bad.
We would've also found out if AR was starting.
Hilarious. And they will be stubborn making the change back to AR in order to prove a point.
Yikes.

I think Cincinnati is poised to make a SB run, IF they can just play slightly above average defense.
Last year they had 1 blowout loss to Philadelphia by 20 points. All of their other losses were by 7 points or less including including two by 1 point.
I already have them over 9.5 wins (-125) for the season. I'm sure there is a better number out there, but there is no legal sports betting in Texas, so I have to take whatever my book gives me.
