2025 NFL Off Season Thread
Key Dates
February
February 18 – The first day clubs can designate franchise or transition players.
February 24-March 3 –
I was trying to value Kenny Clark - maybe a low 2nd or a 3rd?
he's been a good player, but he's expensive
Boys fans should be happy. They are ****. Jerruh rebuild is a better path than whatever they are now.
Those are likely to be very low first round picks, no?
I mean it isn't like Tanking for Arch. But Jerruh may have that one covered on his own pick. That could send Arch back to Sark for one more year.
'Parsons had to go' is such a ludicrous take. the situation was created by Jerry's ego
great news for Parsons to wait tbh. So at the beginning of the offseason, the biggest deal ever for non QG was Nick Bosa who had signed a 5-170/120 deal, which was $34mm per year
that was more than 10% above the previous highest figure. So if Jerry had got ahead of it and signed him to a deal at 10% more than the previous highest figure at the beginning of the offseason, it would have been something like 4-152. or 5-190 which is $38m per.
his reward for all these shenanigans is 4-188 which is 47m per and basically an additional 9m per year
I will say that Parsons has to be vvg for GB to 'win' this. His trajectory is HOF so if he goes nuts the next three years and they extend him again and he becomes an8-10yr Packer with say 6 more years of top tier production then that's a win.
their 2 first rounders should probably equate to say pick 25 which is of course way way different than 2 in the top 10. But still 2 1st rders plus a good DT AND $47m per year is a lot.
the nearest parallel to this is Khalil Mack and that was not a win for the Bears in the final wash up
draft a player like Parsons at 12 because ya think ya found a steal
yet somehow appear surprised with no plan in place when time comes to pay his second deal
turns out you did scoop the filled up pot with a rivered wheel
now go directly to jail
The Athletic's Jeff Howe's trade grades:
GB: A+++
DAL: C+
C+ is generous
ESPN's Seth Walder:
GB: B+
DAL: C+
That’s probably why he couldn’t afford Micah’s extension.
only just thought...Dallas fans lost Micah AND Luca Doncic this year.
And the Stars lost their 3rd straight conference finals and fired their coach.
Imagine paying Dak and trading Micah
Big ups jerruhhhhh
in a 12 team league with 11 Mexicans
My team name is Dean Cain
I don’t get it
Mark, you don't deserve this.
If teaming up with Dom to root for the Bills isn't your cup of tea, you could root AGAINST Micah by becoming a Lions fan.
He might deserve it. I wonder to myself what I did to be a Jets fan. I'm starting to think I actually did do something. Something awful. All we can do is continue to post our thoughts on his team. It's Gods work gentlemen.
BAL > PHI is pretty funny.
Also looking to get some more MIA bets in if anyone is interested.
They've got them ranked 24th. Ahead of them are
16. LAC
17. ARI
18. DAL
19. PIT
20. SEA
21. NE
22. JAX
23. LV
I'll take MIA regular season win total over any of those teams. $20 - $50. 1 bet per user.
If this is still open I’ll take $50 on LV.
many ppl itt looking to get their hands on those sweet sweet Tuabucks
