So 'which is bigger' depends on the value of the players involved - slightly more draft capital to Colts, but more players to Dallas. So perhaps Walker trade is bigger.
to the original question though, given Dickerson was also the #2 overall pick, I think he had the more draft capital spent on him over his career. Not sure if there's another who had more spent on him than 4 1st rounders and 3 2nd rounders?
a sneaky lol part of that trade from the Colts pov is that to get enough draft capital to trade for the 27yr old RB, they had to trade Cornelius Bennett to the Bills. Bennett had more Approximate Value over his career than Dickerson. And the Colts got Dickerson when he had already 'earned' half his career AV

What I gathered from watching the Jerry Doc, they only received the picks if they let the 5 players go after the season.

It's not really that sneaky. Technically the Colts didn't trade the picks to the Rams. They traded Cornelius Bennett and picks for him.

I don't think that condition applied to the first rounders, but yes that is exactly what happened and I think they cut them before the season (but could be wrong about that).
