2025 MLB Season Thread
The Tokyo series is March 18-19th, will air on FOX, and is between The Cubs and The Dodgers.

Judge will probably flirt with the real Mendoza line for a month. But it's awesome following him so far.
Gwynn was 3 hits short in '94.
I took one of my worst beats on him in '91. I had him to win the batting title pretty much every year against the field thru that stretch. He was hitting .360 mid-summer no one within 50 points of him. I guess his worst slump ever, he hit .261 the last three months, including .174 in September with 0 strikeouts. He was hurt. Pendleton got the batting title .319 to .317. That also cost Bonds the MVP, ridiculously, or he would have been a double quadpeet MVP man.
I still can't believe they got rid of this.
Rough first appearance for Mick Abel as Skenes is pitching for the Pirates today.
Jose Alvarado nuking my Phils WS bet with an 80 game "weight loss" suspension.
Jose Alvarado nuking my Phils WS bet with an 80 game "weight loss" suspension. Back to Pads getting it right.imo
It obviously hurts the Phils, but might solve one problem. They would have had to use Ranger or Painter in the bullpen anyway (or go to a 6 man rotation, but I think Wheeler prefers not to have extra rest)

Any line on how many homers the Yanks hit tonight in Coors?
I feel embarrassed for them. The ****ing Rockies??? That's like losing to a AAA team.
They just wanted txdome to feel like he has a chance in our bet.
Where is this skenes trade talk coming from

Yanks flop lag.
Skubal with a 13-K Maddux
They thru Ohtani a strike leading off the first inning so it was 1-0. I continue to be amazed at how pure he and Judge are.
Somehow it reminds me of a Dwight Gooden run that Bill James raved about. The last 9 starts of his rookie year, he went 8-1, with 105 Ks and 13 walks. (The loss was 2-1, he had 16 Ks and no walks. It included a 1-hitter in which the hit was an infield single down to Ray Knight if I remember right.) The last three starts of the season were 41/1 k/w. Rookies don't do this. The Mets somehow saw fit to keep pitching him 8 and 9 innings as a 19-year-old during this late season streak. And he was never the same.
Was at Mets game today.
They’re undefeated when I’ve attended this year.
I also won this 30% boosted SGP on FD:

First 5 innings u4.5 total

The Phillies game could get ugly.
Yeah Strider plunking Harper was not a good look.
