Moore is going to lose tens of millions of dollars in gtd money. This is one of the weakest draft classes ever, especially for QBs.

The comments from the smart draft guys today have been that he might have dropped anyway, so perhaps he hasn’t. And he’ll be getting $5m+ from Oregon I’m assuming

Tbh the big focus for QBs is the second contract and so the larger dynamic for them in a ahem β€˜coming out decision’ is weighing up the value of the extra year in college to their chances of success in the NFL to get to a big second contract vs the fact that the second contract will kick in at least one year later and that $50m ish can never be earned back

dante moore will turn 21 on may 24th
kid is still young and being thrown to raiders or jests could be career suicide

also more cause around these parts its thought of as the mariota effect

I don't buy it for a second. People only started saying this after he announced he was staying. Four teams in the top 6 need a QB, and this is a historically weak class. Next year he'll be up against a stronger group for sure.

love all this in-depth discussion of what went wrong in Philly. You guys just won a Super Bowl a year ago. And another one not that long ago.

I mean....lol. Some of us have been waiting over 50 years for a SB and are just enjoying our team being competeitive and having an all-time great quarterback.

Have some persepective. Why are Eagles fans always so miserable? πŸ˜ƒ

I don't speak for everyone, but plenty of folks (including many on 2+2) were calling that 2024 team one of the greatest teams of all time. Debatable for sure, but that wasn't the case after the Nick Foles SB win.

There's a feeling among some fans that Patullo & Sirianni were keeping this team from achieving legendary status: Fangio's defense was still humming, the offense still had weapons (plenty of sites ranked AJB & Devonta regularly in top 5 of "best WR duos"), if only we could get someone directing those weapons in even a quasi-competent way.

To such fans, "have some perspective" is a pretty reasonable response, but I get it.

I won't speak for anyone else, but the Eagles had a very good defense and wasted a lot of talent on offense.

I don't like wasting talent while you have it. These teams don't come around that often.

I'm not miserable, but I don't think watching the Eagles this year was very fun, either.

huh?

first i heard that kind of talk

Giants signing Harbaugh.

The best job IMO.

I'll take him and root for the Giants again.

wow
Harbs Dart Nabers and Skattebro

might be time to stop picking the giants for question 25 in peehs πŸ˜ƒ

Yuge. Just look at what Ben Johnson did for da Bears.

Yup, talent on both sides of the ball. Any job that has a talented qb is rare to find for obvious reasons. Plus, given his experience with Lamar he should help Dart quite a bit. I bet this was a big selling point.

Giants by far the best job if you can get a guy who can handle the NY media which Harbaugh seems like he can

I don’t think Harbaugh is anything special but he’s so clearly the best coach they’ve had in over a decade that the giants by default are going to be pretty good pretty fast

Raiders probably the best job available, insane to say. But that’s largely cuz I’m absolutely sold on Mendoza and I think Salah would be the perfect fit there

Idk man, Raiders ownership situation, organisational culture and even having Brady are pretty scary IMO

If Monken tags along with Harbaugh it's a very good spot and hires for NYG. But it's a different microscope than in Baltimore.

Should I be happy the Phins interviewed the Packers DC? I get the overcorrection from Ruxin, but I'm kind of hoping they could land a guy with some head coaching experience in the NFL.

Probably not, especially since the Packers defense wasn't even that good. With Harbaugh off the market, all of the other available guys with HC experience are pretty bad retreads. Nagy, McCarthy, Arthur, etc. I guess Stefanski could work. I can't believe he's only 43. He looks about 55. I guess that's what the Browns can do to a man.

The reports are that Monken is coming along.

fair point..I was surprised the Eagles didn't seem like the team they were last year.

I might even grab some Giants gear.

Gotta represent.

I’m enjoying all the β€˜4 pillars of the Giants’ with Harbaugh Dart Nabers and Skattebo.

Like…sorry Andrew Thomas, Brian Burns and Abdul Carter, the white running back with the 4.6 40 averaging 4.1 a carry is ahead of you now

what they need is for jaxson to skatt like jackson instead of bro or he will walk off into early onset

Broken YouTube Link

For any Bills fans or people who just love film room breakdowns and smart NFL analysis, you guys should checkout Cover 1 on Youtube. Today's film room is with Buffalo Bill's starting center, Connor McGregor as he discusses how tough the Jax DL was and what he expects to see against the Broncos.

Solid football talk. I love OL breakdowns.

Amazing he had time this week to sit down with an independent fan channel lol.

I don’t always sir down, but when I do it’s with a fan.

lol I shared something because I thought you all might be intertested in some cool football breakdowns. And you link me to a thread that no one has posted in in two years?

You guys never fail to act like azzholes, you know that? Fine, I'll just go back to trolling you morons with Josh Allen content. Enjoy!
