both BUF and PHI had **blaring red sirens** issues when you opened the hood and delved into the analytics. not surprising they both took it on the chin at home this weekalso, it's wild the AFCE's most talented QB resides in Foxborough and not Orchard Parkthe NFL viewing public that hasn't been paying attention got to see firsthand the crazy skills The Drake brings to a game ev

cracks me up what must be running through the minds of BUF fans

As a new BUF fan I can tell you, there ain't much running through here. Like wind through a canyon.

Lions are #2

by feel wrath m

I don’t have nearly the faith in the Packers that you do.

by josh9308 m

And yeah, aint no way Packers are a better team than Eagles right now, lmao.

For the most part within tiers I don't have any qualms on ordering, with some exceptions (i.e. KC is obviously #1).

But you guys are acting like Green Bay is bad. They are very good. Smashed the Lions already with Parsons playing a nominal amount of snaps. Also the sky was falling for the Eagles the last two weeks and now they're just fine. Everything in the pro sports is too reactionary.

FWIW every book has Packers over Eagles right now, and just marginally lower than Lions/Bills.

2024 was a historic QB draft classThe Drake the early frontrunner for "the dude" of the class

Caleb Williams career trajectory will be very similar to his predessor (Justin Fields). Guy just aint got it and its very easy to see he aint got it. Maye clearly #1 in that group. Daniels anad Nix "probably" have starting careers and the rest are destined for back up types of Jamies/Mariotta kinds of careers.

But what do I know? Mayfield, Darnold and Jones were all left for dead and look at 'em now!

way too early to call JJ a bust. penix has shown some flashes of goodness.

agree that Williams looks like a bust.

but like you said, who tf knows lol

QBs since 2008 to have a game where they attepted at least 20 passes, completed at least 90% of those passes and had at least an 8.0 aDoT on those passes:

Rivers vs the chefs in '12

Purdy vs ARZ in '23

Daniels vs CIN last season

Maye this past Sunday

* aDoT began being tracked in 2008

Cliffnotes?

cops killed him

"a brief struggle occurred" and Martin "became unresponsive" after being taken into custody.

"brief struggle" --> rip

Well all police have body cams now so itll be up on police activity youtube soon. We will know everything in this case, no doubt about it. As a side note, watching that site or any site where people are dying has to be seriously bad for your psyche. I have no doubt Im going to see what went down though, curiosty to strong, it is what is.

not saying justice will be done, i can think of that one case in arizona, hotel, guy crawling saying dont shoot. cops gets away with it, ill be mad forever. ugh, dont wana get to far afield. But as far as Doug Martin we will know soon.

Im trying to remember him, was he the guy that was insane fantasy guy for a moment there, like 4 tds in game? Just tearing the nfl apart, I think that was him.

yeah well, assuming that they didn't turn their cameras off, or the footage doesn't "accidentally" get deleted, i still don't have much interest in viewing the kind of "brief struggle" that can kill a 36 year old running back

however he died (and let's face it, there really aren't any 'good' explanations one way or another), the fact that he was mentally unwell enough to be out in the middle of the night breaking into other people's houses is pretty sad.

you should probably give the Lions a mulligan for week 1.

however he died

well we know some people are hoping for a certain outcome

Russ should become a 1st ballot HOF after this

Yes, I liked that too. I’m not a fan of his at all, but I think I dislike Payton more

Jonathan Taylor - sneaky young at only 26. One more year on his deal but guessing he gets an upgrade in offseason

Also I’d forgotten how good his college stats were - averaged 2k yards over 3 seasons and also scored 55 TDs

(Nebraska fan here)

I went to Nebraska @ Wisconsin in maybe 2018 or 2019 and he ran for 200+ and 3 TDs, so depressiing. Not as bad as when I went to Nebraska at Wisconsin in 2014 on my literal birthday and Melvin Gordon broke the single game all time rushing record with I think 407 yards, and Nebraska got crushed by 40+.

Fortunately though the record got broken i think the very next week by Samaje Perine, so **** Melvin Gordon, I win (in the most minor way possible).

Colts are in an odd spot

Indiana Jones on a 1 year prove it deal. Seems like he's proved it, so that's gonna be $40M AVV at the market rate at least.

Alec Pierce is an UFA. He's got concussion issues, but he's hugely important to their offense, and not just because he keeps Mitchell off the field.

Braden Smith, starting RT, is a UFA and needs a new deal.

A bunch of lesser pieces on defense too. In other words, they're going to have to start writing some decent checks if this season keeps up and JT is going to be curious as he requested a trade and held out just two years ago prior to signing his extension.

Hindsight is obviously hindsight, but it's a shame the Colts didn't give Dimes the Justin Fields deal to bake in the upside potential of a successful first year.

Pierce does a lot of things that don't show up in the box score, but I guess it depends on what he asks for. Somewhere in the range of the Slayton and Shakir deals is probably right.

JT is obviously worth it, but the injury concerns are still underlying. So far so good this season, but 16/51 games missed the prior 3 seasons. Being only 26 means he's worth at least one more extension.

The price of winning.

more The Drake porn

the hits just keep on comin'

Saw this on a twitter grab, but am annoyed I didn’t think about it

Vikings QB room last season was Darnold, Daniel Jones and JJ McCarthy.

Now Jan has a mysterious injury and they’ve got Carson Wentz!

.

speaking of hindsight though....who the **** were the Jets competing with when they did the Fields deal? 2-40m with $30m guaranteed seems insane for a player that the Steelers had dropped for Russell Wilson

If I photoshopped, I’d do the mirror meme of the Jets staring and pointing at the Jets.
