Capitol attack and 6th of January hearings
VP was rushed off the floor by Secret service.
Senate is on lockdown.
Terrorists have breached barricades and appear to be
Damn, I really thought I had this one figured out. But now.... it's not Antifa that instigated, it's the FBI. What next?... actually Republicans?
No, the Republicans are getting him kicked off the ballots via the 14th by working with those commie liberal judges...
Would you mind pointing out exactly who you do consider the intelligentsia of the Trump movement?
Umm, most Trumpers are pretty smart people to be fair. You are always going to get a few dummies in any crowd though. Hence the debacle on Jan 6 where a few knuckle draggers got sucked in to the trap set for them by the Feds. I think there were like 500,000 at the Trump rally that day and only a couple of thousand at most went in to the capitol. So the ratio of smart people to knuckle draggers was pretty impressive really.

Yeah I remember the press secreting to defend it I remember the joke the white part was all the Klu Klux Klan
I’m just glad Biden and his Press secretary never push flat out lies
Oh wait
what about what about what about what about what about what about what about what about what about what about
I love the belief that the most culpable actor was some FBI guy in the crowd giving directions. Not the clowns that brought zip ties from out of state or the monkey with the microphone who set the whole thing up.
LOL, awesome. Did you get that number from Sean Spicer?
Oh, only a couple thousand? Well, hardly anything to worry about then. 🙄
Ok, so it looks like my numbers may have been a bit off. Newsweek is quoting 120,000 protestors at the rally and about 1200 entering the capitol. That makes the number of knuckle draggers at about 1%. 1% is still a pretty small fraction of the total so my point still stands. Most Trump supporters are smart cookies.
Six times as many protestors—as many as 120,000—would show up on the Mall on January 6, according to classified numbers still not released by the Secret Service and the FBI but seen by Newsweek. But there is still not an official estimate, nor have any of the Congressional committees or task forces offered a number. Nor is there a clear number of how many people actually entered the Capitol, or tried to get in.
A deeper evaluation can be made based upon the arrests that have already been made. Federal prosecutors have charged more than 700 people with participating in the protests at the U.S. Capitol, and new indictments and arrests are still continuing almost daily. Early in the arrests (when the number was closer to 400), most news media outlets said some 800 people entered the Capitol, but now the number—circulating in classified assessments made by the Secret Service and the FBI, and obtained exclusively by Newsweek—is 1,200.
According to this article there were about 10,000 at the Capitol Riot on Jan 6:
"The riot -- which followed a months-long disinformation campaign by former President Donald Trump and his allies, who claimed without evidence that the election had been stolen through fraud -- lasted seven hours, during which approximately 10,000 people came onto Capitol grounds, with many engaging in violent clashes with officers trying to protect the building and lawmakers inside. At least 2,000 made it inside the Capitol building."
According to this article there have been over 1,230 people arrested and charged with crimes at the riot
"More than 1,230 people have been charged with federal crimes in the riot, ranging from misdemeanor offenses like trespassing to felonies like assaulting police officers and seditious conspiracy."
So like the b*llsh*t about the election being stolen with no evidence given and having lost every case in court (over 60 cases) regarding potential election fraud (the one case that was won had to do with allowing people 3 extra days to correct mail in ballot mistakes in Philadelphia which was denied by a judge) we have people pretending that the % of people charged with crimes at the riot was close to 0% when it was actually over 10% and likely that over 20% were part of the violence.
That isn't to say that a large % of people at the riot were not there to do damage. It could be that 70% or more were not involved in the violence. I have no idea. But it is also clear that the number of people who came there to do damage was substantial.
And the FBI was not involved in any way shape or form. There has been zero evidence provided to prove the claim. There is no trial or charges. There is nobody from the FBI who has come forward as a witness. And you would think there would be since the FBI is like vast majority Republican as are most police forces in the US. Again Trump and his supporters will lie about just about anything to reduce the associated guilt of their behavior and the behavior of other MAGAs.
The other thing to consider is why would the FBI promote violence against police officers at the Capitol? Putting members of Congress and the Senate and Capitol Officers in potential physical jeopardy is somehow justified by being able to convict individuals for trying to overthrow the country? And not doing it would somehow mean that they wouldn't be arrested? Understand that the people who were arrested for serious crimes came to the rally wearing SWAT like gear. So they were going to do what they did (and planned to do as evidence shows) regardless.

How do you know the FBI did not have active agents or informants participating in Jan 6th ? Under oath and testimony at congressional hearings Ted Cruz asked these questions and they refused to answer. If there were none the answer is simple NONE
I would imagine there would be lots of ways for the FBI to set Trump up that wouldn't be so complicated, convoluted and not likely to bring him down?
There would be dozens, if not hundreds, of people in the FBI who would know about the plan and no one has talked?

oh god, it burns
Hey Gorgon. How many mRNA shots have you had now? 8, 10, 20.
I think it's affecting your brain.

And that 1200 number depends on whether we count this genius. According to her, she only got a foot inside.
Come on now, we're marching to the sea
Got a revolution, got to revolution

Man, imagine the insignificance one must feel in life, combined with a total lack of self-awareness one must posses, to think being a random mope storming the US Capitol Building for a lifelong conman that shiits in gold toilets was going to make them heroes in US History. 🤣
I think the opposite. 100% of the 120,000 of the people at the rally were knuckledraggers. Anyone who traveled to Washington to participate in the Jan 6 Trump rally is a morons.
Only the bravest 10,000 of those morons entered the capital to take it over. Of this group of Mensa members, 1,200 were dumb enough to do something on camera (or post on their social media) that led them to get charged with crimes.
